Man,I messed up my payment today :(
Last month just before I got sick I changed my email address. I thought I'd changed it everywhere including my bank and paypal. Well, I noticed payments went out from MyLot today and yet I didn't get anything and was trying to figure out why. Finally I contacted MyLot and then PayPal only to find out that I didn't change my address at MyLot...they sent my payment to the old address. So now I have to get them to cancel the payment, put in the right email address and then have them re-send it again. Not to mention it took me almost a half hour to find this out b/c the rep at PayPal when I called barely spoke English LOL
Well, I feel like an idiot and can't believe I forgot to change my information here. Have you ever screwed up like this? Did it work out allright in the end?

I can sympathize because I still don't have all the address corrections made from when we finally gave up on the post office and started using a dependable mail forwarding service. I just spend 1/2 hour myself trying to figure out which phone number matches which physical address and which forwarding address. Our phone company went bankrupt in July and for a while they were routing their customer service calls overseas. I have had to try to provide customer service over the phone to people in a language other than my own, so I know that it is frustrating for the one helping as well as for the helpee. But one day I had to try to understand the "English" from someone in Ireland, someone in the Philippines, and 2 fellows from India one after another over scratchy telephone lines with the calls getting dropped so that we kept having to start over and it took 5 hours just to get a simple task done. No wonder that company went out of business! So I really appreciated the phone rep I spoke with today because his English was perfect. I'm sure you will get it all straightened out.
Good luck!

I thought I had sent out an email letting everyone know my new email address before I closed out my email account and apparently I didn't. I had people calling me for months afterwards wanting to know my new email address.
I'm all the time forgetting what email my paypal is under (since I have more than one of them) When my payment went through from my lot I had to go through a list of like 5 emails to figure out which one was my paypal account one.

Don't worry my friend, you won't be the first person who has done this and certainly won't be the last, I have done it! There is always some one or some site we forget about and only realize too late that we have to spend a lot of time trying to sort it out! It's like moving and changing address there is always someone you have forgotten to inform! You're not idiot that's for sure, it's just a simple mistake to make! I hope and sure you will get it sorted out, just mild aggravation! Least you got paid!

Oh my. I am glad that you did get it figured and straightened out so you can get paid. It is hard to remember all of the places at onve that you need to change your address for. Sometimes we all forget a place or two.
I have switched internet providers before and had to change my email address, I forgot to change my email address in a couple of places.

Please understand I'm not laughing at you but I am laughing - last summer when I moved I had to change all of my email addresses - PayPal was the first I changed and myLot was the second. Guess you know where my priorities are :)
It's good at least that they are working it out although there will be a delay.

I screwed up on other things but not my email because I have not changed my email address since coming to mylot.
I have forgotten to make payments, I have looked at numbers and transposted them and made the wrong ones. So yes I have made lots of bone head mistakes.

Nothing as serious as that, but I did change my password on a couple of sites the other day, but only remembered changing one and couldn't figure out why I couldn't sign into the other site..I thought I had lost it, so I did the, "send my password to my mail" link and when I saw the password, it still took me a while to remember changing it and that is because whenever I change my password, I have it written down that I changed it. I had the one site written down, but not the other..
Well, I hope you got your payment problem taken care of..:)

I've done that before. Not on MyLot but, on other sites. Don't feel bad about it, it could happen to anyone. I'm lucky because I have my own .com that came with 2500 free email addresses so, I have a different address for each program I use. For example MyLot is ml@blah.com and CashCrate is cc@blah.com.

We all make mistakes I just hope they can rectify this one it is awful to think you have done all this hard worked and saved up your Mylot payments for ages and then cannot recieve the payment. Yes similar things have happened to me take for instance last weekend. I am now without glasses because I went on a coach trip and fell asleep the next thing I knew we had to change coaches so I quickly grabbed all my belongings forgetting my glasses. We rang them up a few days ago and they sent out some glasses. Sadly they are not my glasses and look horendous. I am very sad that I have lost my glasses and cannot afford a new pair at the moment. They cost about £50 and I haven't go the money right now.

I'm sure it will all work out. I always try to remember each website I go on so that I can change my email address with them if/when I get a new email addy. Sorry it took you so long to figure out what was going on. Hope you get your payment soon and that your next payment will get to you like it's supposed to. At least now you know what happened and you can go change your email address with them.

I'm glad to hear it all got sorted out for you in the end after all the hassle! I've never quite done anything like that, I've had the same email address for like a million years (lol since I've been using email anyway) and the same bank account since my teens. The thought of stuff like what you mentioned happening is not enough to scare me into not changing things like that hahaha! x

This happens to the best of us! I am always forgetting something!
Luckily mylot will cancel the payment and redo it for you. Some sites would probably just say ~ too bad!
