I have 3 tattoos and they are one is a butterfly with tribal symbols around it and my second is of a butterfly flying over a daisy and the last tattoo I have is on the lower part of my back and it's paw print leading the way to my cat with wings. My question to you is how many tattoos do you have and what are they?

I have one on and one in the works. The one I have already says "Loungey" and it's on my butt. :) Ok really I have my kids initials along with my sis with the Japanese Love Kanji surrounded by a Lotus blossom on my calf. My second one isn't done being all the way thought out yet- it's a tribute to my grandma with no RIP stuff, I do know it will look like a watercolor painting when it's done, no outlines basically and that one will probably go on my back somewhere.

Nice, I really love the idea of water color like tattoo. I always wanted to get a Kanji on my back for strength. But I know that I have one that I'll be getting before that one. I am getting a kitten with wings sleeping on a cloud in the sky with a butterfly half in it's paw and half in it mouth. LOL!!! Hope things are going great!

Yeah they get use to the outlines. LOL!!I'm actually hoping you take a pic of it when you get it done and posted because I think the water color is going to look absolutely gorgous.

I love that kitty tatt-sounds awesome..I like your daisy too was my grandmas fave flower so that is part of my second one... My tattoo guy wants to kill me about the outline thing but he really can't wait to do it.

I don't have any tattoos. . . yet. I keep thinking I'd like to get one someday. But I have no idea what in the world I'd get. Especially since it's such a big commitment. I wouldn't want to get something that I *think* I'd like to live with for the rest of my life, then not like it nearly as much five years from now as I did in the moment. That and I don't think we really have any good places around here to get a good quality and safe tattoo. I would want to be sure the person doing any ink on me is very talented and well qualified.

Sounds like you went about it the right way. :-) I have a friend who wasn't quite so fortunate. She has a couple tattoos on her back (tribal sort of things). Those, she's fine with and still likes. I forget what the pictures are, but she also got some type of 'bands' tattooed around several of her fingers. She did it when she was just out of high school and didn't put a lot of thought into them first. She says she regrets them now because she's working in a professional field and feels very self conscious wonder what people are thinking when them see them on her hands at work. She says her only saving grace there is that she can hide them if she wears rings on each of the fingers that have been tattooed. But she says it gets to be a drag feeling like she *has* to wear rings constantly to cover them up.

That is another reason why I got all of my tattoos on my back so that I could easily cover them up becasue my college schooling is in business management, so I need to maintain a level of bwing professional with my appearance and I thought that would keep it professional. LOL .. I'm kinda self concious at times.

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted and then even once I decided I wanted to make sure I still wanted as much as I did when I first thought of it. Thats why I was 22 or 23 when I got my first tattoo.

me? I have absolutely no tattoos. Never had any kind of compulsion or desire to get one. I guess I prefer my art to be hung on the wall, that way if I want a change of scenery it is easy enough to switch out.... switching out my flesh may be a bit inconvenient. When I think of the things I would have wanted for a tattoo should have I wanted one from a few years back - and what I would want today are so completely different.

Thank you for your view, I was 22 or 23 when I got my first tattoo and the idea of my tattoo hadn't changed from the time I was 16 and wanted one. So I was pretty safe, but in your case where you like change and couldn't stick to one piece I think that was great that you get art work and are able to change it out thank you for your thought and views and have a nice day.

I have three tattoos as well. I want to get one that incorporates my 4 children's names at some point but I haven't figured out how to do it where it isn't huge or boring. My kids all have slightly long first names; Chandler, Griffen, Justice and Millanah. I got my first tattoo was when I 16. It is a small tropical bird and flower. It is located near/on my left hip bone. I wouldn't choose something like that now, but I don't regret getting it either. The second one I got when I was 24, it is on the small of my back. It is 3 flowers. I still love this one. I was 24 when I got the 3rd one as well. It is my husband's name and and a 4 leaf clover and it's uh...on my right butt cheek. I got it on Valentine's Day 5 years ago this year. I always wanted a 4 leaf clover, so even though it was Valentine's Day I just incorporated it. My husband has 3 tattoos too. He has one design in between his shoulder blades under his neck, my name on one of his upper arms and a design that he got when he was 18 that we eventually want to cover on the other. I have all my tattoos in places that nobody can see on a normal day to day basis. That is why I am having a hard time with finding a design to

I have none. I don't care for tattoos on my body, unless they are the temporary type. LOL Not to mention I'm too chicken to get a real one. LMAO So, where is a picture of at least one of your tattoos? I'd love to see any of them. :)

I only have one so far, kanji for "Brave at Heart". The reason I don't have more is more of a monetary issue than anything else XD If I could, I'd have plenty more already!

Some tattoos I see are completely beautiful, others horrifying and still more mystifying. I've long toyed with the idea of getting one, but that's probably as far as I'll go - toying with the idea. I have quite enough pain, thank you very much! lol The only one I keep coming back to in my mind is one on my ring finger where I wear my wedding ring. Maybe one day, maybe not. OK, probably not. But if I did, it would be an infinity symbol - simple, elegant and self-explanatory, at least for me. Bella, I have no doubt that your tatoos are quite beautiful, as you are.
