going back to school

Seems the only way to make good money anymore is to have a degree in something or work for yourself.I am doing both!!
I currently work for myself cleaning houses[yay-pfft],I am going back to school to further my education and take some business courses to benefit my working for myself.Anyone in their 30's deciding now to go back to school? Share please:)

I hope I can go back to school to finish a degree course in IT. However, I am glad that I am appreciated in the office and was promoted last year even if I am a degree holder. I thankful that with my interest at work and dedication I leveled others who had a degree..

work security is ok. but in my opinion having a degree is best specially if you opted to find new job that really requires such. on the other had, to succeed in your career, you must be someone who has an interst to the choosen field or job your are into

Absolutely, my fiance and I are only planning to do what we are already doing temporary,we later plan to open a Core Skate Shop in our area.We both love the industry,but business minded we are not, so I plan to fix that :)

Sounds rough. I wish you strength, resolve and the best with all that you are doing. It sounds like you may need it. At worst it doesn't hurt to have the sentiment. Best of luck to you.

I would also advise you to study law apart from business. That's what my mother did want me to do, I regret not to have listened to her :)

college degree may help you finding a better job,but if you want to be a richer,promote personal ability is the most important thing,you know sometimes,you have the knowledges,but it doesn't equal that you have the capability,experiance and professinal skills are also inportant for our success.

My husband recently found out that he can share his GI Bill money with me, so I will be going back to school soon. I am not sure which degree I want yet. I finished two years of my business degree already but was so bored!
I am thinking of Elementary Education. I have finished all of my core classes so it shouldn't take too long.
