jerritts1mom well see, that's where you and I differ.My problem isn't talking to strangers,that seems easy to me,it's talking to people I already know and am close to.Doesn't make much sense, but that's how it is...thank you for your response.I truly appreciate it :)

jerritts1mom You have me pegged, I have always CHOSEN to be a loner.Less to worry about I guess, but it is nice for people to "GET" you,and comunication helps.I will keep doing what feels comfortable for me though, thank you!

jerritts1mom I am afraid it's too late..I do have these moments,which is where my love for writing came in to play. I used to have major anxiety, now not so much, but I would still rather write than speak :)

jerritts1mom I think most children go through these stages.I think it's also important to allow them to develop their own likes and dislikes...but at the same time teaching them to try new things. Thanks for your response to this discussion :)
