What hasd gone wrongf with us? The three little pigas and their traditional battle with the wolf has been banned from school classrooms, in case it upsets muslims? What are we scared of? I happen to get offended when some religious group insist my chicken must have its throat cut and slowly bleed to death but no one bans such barbarity, wonder why?

I'm not sure what they are scared of. The world has changed in a very weird way. The governments and the laws or so corruot, but they want us all to love and respect one another. I don't see how that is possible when they keep changing things for the worst.

I too put a post up about this as I was not only shocked by this stupidity, but angered that we in the world of today have gone this far! Another anger in me at the moment and find this to be on the same lines as the "Three little pigs" some religious freak "man of God" has verbally critised Heath Ledger and his "role" and I say again "role" because that is all it was in a movie as a gay cowboy. This so called "man of god" was absolutely horrific in his interview on our TV and our Reporter did well to hold her dignity. Not even being able to call a Teddy Bear "Mohammad" now that is another big joke of today, and the poor teacher who did this has suffered because of it! My idea of life today is I will continue to do what I have done in the past, if it reading books that to some can be offensive, as in these story books I grew up with, then I shall do so! I am so sick of all this stupid carry on over things that really are pathetic, we should be more concerned about the real issues in life, like people starving, homeless people, abused people and children, and this list goes on. This is not even close to anything important. VENT OVER!

I agree, it is as though we are given something pointless to get upset about in order to keep us from seriously questioning things that would cost those in power money, or even challenge their position

yes it certainly seems there are a lot of ajustments made by the indiginous culture, not many by the incoming one, why should this be so? I was always brought up to believe that if something was happening that you didnt like when you went somewhere, you packed your kit and went somewhere where it wasnt happening, may I suggest these disaffected individuals do the same

i just worry why it would be considered normal anywhere? Is it the same level of stupidity that meant a teacher goes to jail because her class of children wanted to call a teddybear Mohamed?

Huh?
THey making less sense with each passing day.
I don't know eskarena, I am a very fair person but this politically correct trend is really getting overboard. See when we look at it, nearly everything we can say read or do can be taken as offensive by another person. SO what are we going to do?
I have often said that at a time where people are making an effort to avoid violence and dishonesty, fairy tales - most of them - are not the best examples on the whole world when we think about them, but still from there to banning them goes a long long way.
I believe in freedom with responsibility things shouldn't be banned or censored. Instead people should be thought how to deal with them responsibly. I never thought that the hiding the head in the sand approach was the best.
SOrry I'm ranting but I"m not in the best mood today LOL
I wonder when they're going to ban the 3 little pigs in here. I"ll be the first one on line to protest :)

WHAT?! When the hell did this happen?! and where? Thats just absolutely INSANE! Yet its just one more thing that sets my belief more in stone that ppl just need to p!ss and moan, whine and complain, natter and meddle because misery loves company and IMO there are more miserable ppl than there are not...
thats just pathetic...
