I was watching a programme a few days ago and was quite intrigued by this particular item. He had been getting nuisance phone calls from people pretending to be animals he had eaten. Whoever they were obviously didn't know what they were talking about because they seemed to think he was killing these animals.
Anyway, this man picks up animals which have already been killed (run over most likely) and takes them home to eat. Now, while I probably wouldn't want to eat roadkill, I can understand why he does. As he said on the programme, he would rather pick the animals up and eat them because he doesn't like to see a dead animal just lying in the road. I see his point. If someone round here were willing to eat squashed animals, I'd prefer that than to walk past them.
I would just like to find out other people's opinions about this.
