When I read the FAQ's here in mylot, it is stated there that we are advise to rate discussions to help them rate members. Rating a post is done on the lower right, there are buttons appears + - and !.
But do we always do that?
Me, on my part, so long as I have time, I always go back to the discussions I've started and rate each of the reply. Those I found not relevant to the topic I've posted is not rated.
How about you guys? Do you do the same?

I always rate everyone to help them out. I try not to rate anyone negative unless they are disruptive to the discussion. I also do not rate someone who speaks nothing about what the topic is. I just skip over them, but for the most part everyone gets rated a positive in my discussions.

I also do the same. I always try to avoid giving negative sign or that exclamation there.

Yes. I think so too. I never rate them negatively. I let Mylot decide on which user is contributing very well and who isn't. I think we all get rewarded from Mylot from the ratings we get, but they also go by how many negative ratings a person has got also. I really don't want to be the one to make someone get less pay here or rating numbers.

Same here honeylore23. I try to be nice to others here and try not to do anything to them that would be negative.
