My younger son has a girl friend!

My younger son came over to see us to pick up his mail and told us he has started dated again. His other girl friend had broken off with him and so he has been concentrating on fixing up his house. Now he told us that he met a girl through a dating service and has already met with her family. She is a teacher and she has a large family. So it looks like a wedding in the future! And I was just about to give up.

They are still together. That has been over a month now. And they are talking about looking for a house. She has one and he has one.

I was getting desperate. I did not want him to turn to be a recluse like my brother, my son all alone except for the cat. :)

Oh that's nice, I'm happy for him. So, how about more details - how long since his last girlfriend? How long has he been seeing the new lady? What dating service did they use?

He went through Life Mates. You know the kind for business and professional people who are too busy working to do much dating. He went with his last girl friend over a year and he was friends with a girl since high school. I really thought he was going to marry before this, but when I met his last girl friend's father, I thought, Please God let them break it off. I did not like his father. She was supporting him and he was too much into being the typical working class, hate American Canadian. I get along with anybody.

I hope so too. He had a bad time with his former girl friend - no they did not have s*x, she was too tied to her father.

And the patter of little feet? Seriously tho' how old is your younger son my friend? I bet you are over the moon, I think mums always get excited when their youngest starts to date, I hope it works wells and I can see at the end of the year you will be keeping us updated and you never know one day you'll have a discussion about the big day itself. Fingers crossed for him and you too!

He's in his thirties and so is his girl friend and she hinted that her biological clock is ticking. She'll probably get pregnant on her honeymoon like my other daughter-in-law did.

oh goody a wedding, my you will have a new daughter in law, thats great..I hope she is as good as my daughter in laws...I have wonderful daughter in laws, they are very good and sweet....any people have problems with therie but i have always been very blessed with mine...I do hope that your son is happy and i do hope she will make a wonderful wife and daughter in law...Congradulations!!!

Oh don't ever give up. Good he's taken his time. Marriage as we know it is a life long commitment. However good for him and I hope it works this time for him.
