Do you hug the pillow when you are scared.

When I wake up in the night with a nightmare, or am watching a horror movie, I usually tuck the pillow in my stomach and curl up. Even if I am really scared, I keep watching the movie with the pillow pushed right in my stomach. How many of you do the same.

i don't hug a pillow when i'm scared. if i wake up from a nightmare, i would wake up with a start and will remain in my position and stare at nothing, trying to calm myself. i won't be moving, not a bit until i fall to sleep again. ^__^;; if i'm watching a horror movie, i don't watch with a pillow nearby or a pillow at hand. i don't watch with anything that can destruct me from watching. if i get scared while watching the movie, i would just be on the edge of my seat waiting for what will happen next. ^__^;;

not moving doesn't help. ^__^;; i don't move because i'm too scared to move. LOL someone told me too that its not advisable to sleep flat on the back because there's high chances to have nightmares. i do change my position but only after a while of staring at nothing when i'm ready to sleep again. ^__^;; and i do have an extra pillow in my bed but i don't really hug it always. i just keep it in my side. ^__^

Where do you get the courage to watch horror movies without a pillow for support. lol. Does not moving help with nightmares ? I usually get nightmares when I am lying on my back, so I immediately change to a side position and tuck a pillow in my stomach. It really helps. Try it out sometimes.

I usually roll over to my husband if I have a bad dream. If I am watching a scary movie, I will also cozy up to him and hide behind him when the scary part comes. I have also taken a pillow or cover, and hold it in front of my eyes when a scary part is about to come.

Hooray for husbands. At least they can be used as screens or comfortors whilst having a nightmare or seeing a horror movies. giggle.

Hey Sissygrl, congratulations. How far into pregnancy are you. Good luck and God bless. Have a safe delivery and a healthy baby. Actually I was wondering what to write and the pillow gave me three ideas, so there I am. Lots of love and kisses to the baby even if it is yet unborn.

I hug my pillow when I feel cold. When I am scared, I pray. For me, my pillow will not take away my scare. But will just make me feel comfortable and secured.
