Posting too little in Mylot won't give you none or little earnings....

I've read some user's complaining how small they are earning in Mylot and expect big earnings for whatever post they do in Mylot - but fail to understand if one were to post a topic with just a sentence or maybe a three word topic - How are they suppose to gain any earnings? The most you'll probably get out of it is a penny or even less a penny if you put it that way. That's why read up on the rules of Mylot and it will tell you just like other Mylot Pro's on here will say - the more you write, the more earnings you will get. Are you up for that challenge? Can you take that time to make a one page posts? If you do you'll be earning about $0.05 to $0.06 per page depending on how good the topic is. That's why some of you might have posted thousands of topics and wonder - how is it I only have less that $40.00? I hope I can get a little bit more than that here from making over 1,000 posts and I know it is possible. Are you the types that post little or small in Mylot? I encourage you to up your postings.

Haha you're so true bro! Oh well I have to see what topics I can write because even my postings are small. Oh well if just having the time I'll take your post a consideration, but either way it's fun here. See you on the weekend bro. Laterz!

I try to write as much as I can for a response here on myLot. But I guess it just depends on the question. If it is a Question or topic that I know or care about I may type alot. I have been trying more to make my responses longer and more helpful and to post more responses. Not only for the money but just for the friends/discussion! If people are complaining about the little amount they make then they should start there own discussions and type longer responses! When I 1st started out on here I wondered why I didn't get much and then I learned the more you type the better amount you get! and the more friends you get also!

I agree with you, there are sites that pay more for posting but then they have much stricter rules and they mostly don't pay out because they always find some rule you've broken because some rules are strict but most of them can be very subjective and they have moderators who get paid for each broken rule found so these moderators try to find as many broken rules as possible although sometimes they are very subjective. Thre's no easy money and I think we all have to put a lot of time in myLot if we want to earn money.

At first I didn't know that the length of posts really mattered until one of my mylot responders told me that they should be AT LEAST 4 lines. Mine are often longer than that because I just love the dicussion of it. I don't post responses just for the money. I love to read and answer discussions that interest me. And I wish more people would just understand exactly what you are saying! This site is for PARTICIPATION, which means making more interesting discussions than "ummm do you like what kind of toothpaste do you use?" honestly! Don't just post a discussion just to post one! Post a good one that people are gonna have something to say about! This one was good, it's about making money of course! Great discussion topic darkangel :)

While I'm mainly here to make a few bucks. I do agree that this site is all about particiopation. DOn't knock someone's idea of an interesting subject... Seriously the things my parents talk about sometimes are so boring. I just don't get it. But they have long conversations about it... LIke how the stuffing is different from usual. SOmetimes( not according to mylot) its quality not quanity. Being able to say something in the least amount of words elequantly is an art.

As a newbie, I thank you for those tips. I think this site is awesome, but I am not here to get rich. I enjoy posting and reading the postings of others. It certainly is nice to make a bit of money while doing something that is so much fun. My posts are usually lengthy simply because I am a talker by nature. Always running at the mouth :) and I generally type same way. I don't think I could confine my answers to one sentance if I tried LOL. Anyway, I think this site is pretty much like anything else in life...if you want it...you have work for it. If you want to make "big bucks" you got to be willing to put the time in to get it. I line or two in a couple of posts arent going to get it done. Step up and get to typing people!! LOL Eva

I think quality is better than quantity. Unless an issue is important to me, I'm not going to ramble on and on about nothing to get another penny.

everything in this post is a fact..i always read new users complaining about their earnings but when you see their post they are mostly hi,hello or 1 sentence discussions. i don't criticize them, in fact i understand since i use to do that to way back when i was still a newbie here, i even posted discussions asking other users on how to increase my earnings. i just came up to my senses that posting useless topics would not earn me a penny here when i read one discussion by fellow mylotter saying the same story.

You are absolutely right. It definitely more than 3 sentences to get an earning from a topic posted here in mylot. I myself have not been posting much lately. So I can't expect to earn much when I don't post anything, can I? It really takes time and effort to earn from any kind of work. That also includes writing, for sure. When you post quality topics, then you can even earn more.

yup.. i agree with you.. the earnings are also based on the length of post. i've contacted mylot staff earlier and i asked why the earnings are not the same when the post are the same .. i posted nearly 60 - 100 responses daily.. and .. the earnings was like.. kind of consistent.. until some day.. it doesn't work as it seems to be.. the earning was low.. so i asked them why.. and they say .. it could be due to the quality of post.. so .. users of mylot, an advice for you guys is that make sure you're making quality response based on the topic of the discussion.. it helps =).. thanks

This is a great topic. Many myLot users just don't understand that bigger is better here. I haven't made too much on the site yet, but I know how to do so if and when I have the time to invest. I'm content with my steady (although small) earnings. If I wanted to make more, I already know how. Of course, reading your discussion was very helpful to me and it's a good reminder; I appreciate your post here because I believe it will help many others to understand how to make their amount grow. I'm one who likes to speak my mind, so when I see a topic I can relate to I dive into the discussion full-force. I love long posts and huge responses. I know what I'm interested in, so I'll pick some good discussions and type away. Obviously, I can't paste anything yet since I'm not up to my 500 yet, but I don't think I'll use that option very much anyway. I prefer to type everything out as it comes to my mind. I can type pretty fast also, so that really saves time. Great discussion! Thanks again for the informative discussion. You're a big help.

I sure hope some posters listen up and post more than a line or two. Yesterday my earning was at a low .06 from an average .25. WHY? Because I wasn't here for hours. I didn't post any new topics and just responded to a few. Good heads-up, dark!

that's an very interesting topic. i am still new at this myLot thing and still don't know exactly how it works. But one thing is for sure: this website is a way better than those faqs, and forums, and chats and stuff. here you can have a lot af replies to your questions and is the best way out there to get your questions answered by someone. I am a brazilian and English is not my primary language: sometimes i have a really hard time triyng to express my thoughts in english, I get confused and don't know if I can make myself clear. Grammar mistakes are too common. I wanna thank you for your advice and hope you could understand the things I've wrote. See you!

I like to type alot and I will write anything that comes to my mind about the topic or about the post I want to write. So I would say that I write a fair amount in my posts.

I agree. I get my earnings for posting and responding to others. You don't earn very much for posting one word answers or responses either. You make more, I think, by doing alot of posts and responding to others as well. I think you also have to make sure to respond with valid criteria also.

Thats good! I agree with you whole heartedly! I tend not to post my own topics because it requires research and more work. I guess I would probably earn more if I did. I think I'll start to try and post my own topics. I respond a lot to different topics though. I'm not a crazy poster, but I do about 300 a month. The majority of my posts are 4 lines long or longer. You seem to be fairly new and only have a few posts. May I ask, how sucessful have you been? How much have you made so far?
