Another one from my good old country, I just another place to make your imaginative minds wander!;) I'm starting to look from the past (good ones, of course), I've been to Baguio twice already. The first one was during my younger years and the other during the cool winds of December 2005, as me and my friend attended a wedding of our other friend in La Union. Since we're just an hour or two away from the city, we decided to take a short tour and buy some souvenirs. Since it was short, we didn't had the time to visit this wonderful yet eerie place.. =) As we hurry bustling around, I forgot the one place that I wished I'd seen. A place called as, the Cemetery of Negativism. Where broken dreams and doubts were buried, a place where you can reflect more about your life. How I wished I did seen the place, perhaps that would also make me more aware of what I should and should not do in my life. For those of you who are interested, please do check and read the link to check out what was I talking about!;) http://catchlyts.wordpress.com/2007/11/09/cemetery-of-negativism-and-tales-from-the-graveyard/ Now for my question, would you bury them? Do you also have some strange places like this in your side of town, anything that is weird and intriguing at the same time? To all of you, thanks in advance and hope you all have a great day as always.

That was very interesting, indeed. The Cemetery of Negativism. It's a good idea to bury our frustrations, depressions, grudges especially. These things make us bitter and they eat us up. People won't see the good side of things if these negative feelings are present. I'm planning to visit Baguio during the Panagbenga (Flower Festival) and I will try to go to that place as well.

That's good, but please don't let me see you weeping there!;) Seriously, I like the idea of it and always wonder why or who's thought it came from. Very original, I have never seen nor heard anything like this before..

I believe that's one good thing to do, to let out everything and hopefully you'll learn to live away from it!;)

i've also been to Baguio twice but i've never heard of this place! interesting indeed. where exactly is that in Baguio? i would have gone there and buried my frustrations! LOL is that really a grave? with a tombstone and all that?? ^__^;; like i could put, here lies Secretbear's frustrations, depressions, hesitations and condemnations ^__^;;. may they be buried away forever and ever in the name of the glorious god of moon. LOL we don't have a place as interesting as that. although we have a hot spring here named "malakoko" which was supposed to be converted into a spa a long time ago but it didn't push through and i don't know why and now, its popular during Black Saturday for young boys that have undergone their ritual for adolescence. LOL

It's inside Camp John Hay, I guess. But that's what the article says, so it must be!;) I remember one episode of Spongebob where Mr. Krabbs saw Squidward visit a grave, after Squidward left Mr. Krabbs got curios and saw that the one's buried there was Squidward's DREAMS!LoL That Malakoko place you have must be busy during that time, with girls and "girlalou" alike feasting their eyes with the most FASCINATING event of the year!LoL Just an advice, don't ever go there or else you'll some rotten tomatoes with salted red eggs swinging along with it..

amazing! i haven't been to baguio all my life (shame on me) considering its not that far from my home town. anyway.. i dont think i can bury them. well, i would love to but, im that kind of person who dont forget easily. im more of "remember my nightmare" kind of person. bad noh? i tried it, so many times to forget and bury not-so-good experiences buy they always comes out of nowhere. i dont forget easily, actually, i dont forget. oh, i remember this book by paolo coelho "at the river piedra, i sat down and wept" (same author of 'the alchemist') where the main character always goes down the river piedra so her tears will vanish and go with the flow of the river and be part of a wider body of water. its her way of burying her sad memories. same place? hope a place like that really exist, literally. then life would be more happier.lol

Haven't read anything about Paolo Coelho, so I guess I'm gonna look for his works then. If I happen to be near Baguio, I'd go there almost everyday since I know I have things happening in my life that is always different from what I'm supposed to do!:)LoL Shame on you, yes, instead of dwelling from your past mistakes you should've went there and bury whatever misery it is that haunts you!;)
