Are we already in Recession?

I was told that we are heading for recession again,,but to be frank, I think we are already there,, what do you think? How long does it last? what effects other than economy does it have on us?

I think we have been in recession for quite some time also since the 9/11 attack. Prices for eveything has skyrocketed and people cannot afford to live or eat and they are losing their homes, jobs and more. It has alot of effect on how we live our daily lives.
