If I have a full bladder, that is all the more reason for me to go ahead and get up and get busy for the day. I can't sleep for a long time either. I feel like I need to be online working and visiting Mylot also. The early bird gets the worm and time is money too in my case.

Depending on the time of the morning my bladder needs a loo run. If I am not working, have no place to go and want to go back to sleep, that's what I do. I make a last loo run right before I go to sleep at night in hopes it will last for hours. Doesn't always work that way...lol

There is a limit to how much I can hold and if it gets beyond that, I get up and go to the loo.
Usually when it's cold I don't wait long...because I know it's not going to last till morning..lol. So, I get up when I feel I need to go.
And anyways, I'm up early....middle of the night doesn't make too much of a difference except the fact that it's hard to go back to sleep after that.

I would like to sleep but most of the times I have to get off my blanket and walk almost having my eyes closed, groping and reaching the rest room finally. And by the time I come back to my room, I am done with my sleep. Never can concentrate sleeping after that.
On a serious note, I think, you should never hold back for medical reason. I am sure you know.

I think gone are the days when one had to get up and walk for ages to get to the bathroom LOL! My bathroom is just a few metres from the bedroom, if I need to go, I just get up and go, no matter how hard it is to get back to sleep again, I can't sleep with a full bladder! Your discussion made me chuckle as did several of the responses hahaha!

Hello dear balasri. If I feel the bladder full, I find it very hard to go on sleeping again and I will have to go to use the bathroom before I get to my warm bed again. Usually I find it hard to fall asleep again if day breaks after I come back to my warm bed. But if I do not have to go to work, I would like to lie in bed to enjoy more of the comfortable sleep. Thank you very much for your response to my latest discussion.

I hate the full bladder sensation and it makes me feel uncomfortable and I know that if I don't get rid of it even if it means getting out of a lovely warm bed and stepping, bleary eyed into the cold to the toilet, which thankfully is only next door I will only toss and turn, I can at least get back to sleep but sometimes I go back into a deep and heavy sleep and wake up with a terrible headache, I try not to drink before going to bed because that makes a big difference.
