It is being reported that the Producers and Writers are very close to an agreement, possibly even this week. Do you think this will have an immediate affect on this season's shows or do you think most networks will just use what they have and start planning for next season?

Jay,I think the television networks worked there way through the first thirteen weeks of the regular season ,So now we'll get into the second period with the shows that we come to expect like "Lost", another round of "Survivor" etc. The benefit of the Writer's strike ending will be for late night programming.

I have heard that many shows will not have any episodes ready for the rest of this season. It takes time to get an episode ready for us to view. I'm just happy that it looks like this week will be the end of the strike.

It is so close to the time that reruns start that I think the networks will just use what they have and the writers will start working on next season. I guess we will be finding out soon.
