If you were to consider writing your Lifes Story...What type of things would you want to share...Or if you wanted a friend or family member to write the book on THEIR life (someone you admire lets say) what kind of things would you want to read in this book? For me...I want to share it all...the good the bad AND ESPECIALLY how I went from victim to survivor and all the things I've learned on the way...Keep in mind that a "victim" is or rather can be many different aspects of a person...And its the same with the "survivor"....

For me I think sharing it all is the best way to go. It gives a more accurate picture of a persons life. Are you going to write a book on your life? If so I'd read it. I think it'd be very interesting to get to know you all that much better :)

It was actually suggested to me a few yrs back and after humming and hawing about it I ended up starting to write a book...got 32 pages done too but when my ex killed himself I stopped THEN my computer crashed and I lost all of it :-( But I've been thinking about starting up again....When I was writing it before it really did me a lot of good (though it was hard at times) and I think i have something to offer others who are still in victim mode ya know or in the case of losing a child or loved one, still in the beginning stages of grief etc... Would you read it really? Wow thanks...but just out of curiousity, what types of things would you want to read about? (I feel so odd asking that question LOL)..I mean is there a certain thing in particular you'd be curious about? I've had some ppl say they'd be interested in learning about what my life was fully like, the life story part..but others say they'd be more interested in knowing how I got from point A to point B...what it took ya know...

Yes I would :) It's the whole picture really. I LOVE biographies and autobiographies esp when it's people I like and respect. I'm a sucker for a true story because they're the most real I guess. I know bits and pieces of your life from here and would love to know the rest. It really sucks you lost so much of your started work! That's quite a bit of it too. And I can understand what you're saying (easier to do when you're recovering) - I know that from experience myself. But I think it would be a great thing for you to do to - give others hope and strength. I love knowing and hearing about strong woman and you've bounced back from so much - I have so much respect for you.

Im with you, if i was going to tell my story it would be warts and all, i really see no point in editing. Everything happens for a purpose and therefore hads to the whole story blessed be

Yea i dont see any point in editing either...I mean it really can take away from the book and the persons life ya know...Leaving bits out can be damaging really...

i would definatley want to share ALL of it. there are lots of really bad things but there are good too and i would want the world to know it all. i have had many trials and heartaches, as everyone im sure, and would tell it all from start to finish.

If I was going to write a book about my life story I would tell it all, after all thats what a life story is all about. Although writing it would be really hard for me, and bring up a lot of painful memories.
