What is your favorite part of a thunderstorm?

I like it when the thunder & lightening & rain is booming all around.

my favorite part of a thunderstorm is the lightening particularly the streak lightening although i also like the heat lightening i never stopped being amazed at lightening and it always makes me stop and look when i get caught out in a bad storm and it is streak lightening really bad it scares me but i like the adrinnelyne rush i like the danger and knowing that i could get struck but the lightening is hypmotizing and draws me out into the storm more and more

the lighting part

I am thrilled by the moment when it strikes, and some of those strikes last a little longer than some other ones, so you can see many details for a very short time. I am inspired each time I see that. It's awesome. Terrifying yet beautiful.

i like to watch lightning, especially at night. see the nature in the light of lightning.

I hate Thunder and Lighting. I always have I don't even like to talk on the phone, or watch T.V. I really get scared.

I love just sitting down and watching it and listening to the thunder. I live near a lake, so we get some really beautiful storms up here. It's great. I think my favorite part, though, has to be how utterly beautiful the lightning looks when it separates into all those little branches. I also like it when I get to see the other color spectrum lightning bolts. My favorite are the blue ones.

i love it when it storms in the middle of the night and the storm is so close that the thunder and lightning happen almost simultaneously. so there will be this bright flash that lights up the whole room followed immediately by a huge boom. my second favorite is the rare occasion when it thunderstorms at the same time as a fireworks display (i.e. july 4th). so you get to see both natural and man made fireworks interacting in a way.
