Pet Owners: Enter Photo Contest From HSUS...And.....

Thanks to another MyLotter, and she knows who she is, she started a discussion about getting low cost spay/neuter vouchers vis The Humane Society of the US...There also happens to be a photo contest one can enter one's pet, be it a cat, dog, bird, rabbit, gerbil, horse, etc. Here's the link to the photo contest:

Also, one can vote for the pets seen on their website. Now I just HAPPEN to enter the contest myself, with a photo of Pyewacket...so if you want to vote for him, please do..uh, no pressure...heheee

I sent you a email request asking for your vote :) I don't know if you've gotten it yet though. I also sent one to myself but I haven't gotten it. I put Haley in it (more pictures can be found on my myspace page too).

Aaaw! Everyone here has such adorable little fur-babies! That Pye sure does have a beautiful face, BTW. I'm such a sucker for black kitties anyway! We used to have one when I was little and he was absolutely a joy. We named him Mr. Meowgi, after the character Mr. Miyogi from the Karate Kid movies. :P
Best wishes to everyone who entered the photo contest! I'd love to enter my lil'uns too. . . if only I hadn't done a no-brainer and lost that cord thingy that attaches my camera to my computer. *d'oh*

Yay! Another Karate Kid fan! Meowgi was definitely one of my fave names I've chosen for any of our kitties. And it's one of the more creative ones too. Yup, I have to admit we've had our share of Snowballs and Toms. lol
Unfortunately, I never got any pics downloaded to the computer before the cord went AWOL in a panic-cleaning session at Thanksgiving. (BLAH!) I'm wondering if the cord is a 'universal' type thingie and I'll be able to find one sort of cheap at WallyWorld. *thinking positive*

Yes, yes, no pressure huh? I voted for Pyewacket. Nice pic by the way. I would love to enter, but, alas it's only for US people. I desperately need a low cost spay program too. I've acquired two cats and need to get them spayed, and for both it'll be about 350-400 dollars that I don't have. We could really use that here.

I think they have something that when you enter if you're not from the US then it can be for the Humane Society International...and see maybe they have vouchers for low cost spay/neuter from them as well.

Just follow your link and enter Domingo, Lil' Bear, Tigger, and Simba individually in the search box. Think it would be easier that way, no? Btw, pyewacket is adorable and he now has 2 votes going his way.

Hi and thanks for posting these sites. I have sooooo many favorite pet photos. I have never entered any of them in contests...but thanks to you I just might start. Your love of animals is among the many things I appreciate about you. I checked out the link with Pyewacket's photo and couldn't find it...even after searching with his name. Any suggestions? I'd be happy to vote for him and I will let you know if I post something and maybe you'd be willing to cast one for one of our furry friends too.
Anyway, good idea on this topic...and wishing you and Pye success in your photo ventures...and adventures!

Hey, this is Sue here & I just wanted to say thanks for the message, but I already have my two sweet baby children, (being my brother & sister cats...) fixed & I did that about 7 years ago. Uh...my kitties are fixed too. And while this website points out about getting vouchers to get low spay/neuter for pets I think you missed the point here...LOL...this post and discussion is about the photo contest here and about entering your pet in a photo contest...
