to make extra $$, either now as adults, or back when we were growing up? No, I do not want you posting something here if it was Illegal, or something you do not feel like sharing.
What I am referring too, is maybe going and Selling Cards you might have made, or offering your Computer skills, made desserts you sold, did a lemonade stand, etc. I am just curious to see how you have been able to make ends meet offline with odd type jobs other than your online income, and a Full or Part time job. Since we have many people on here from different walks of life, I am sure there are many who have done things many of us have never considered.
Looking forward to reading your answers.

I do mystery shopping to make some extra money. I don't live in a huge area, so the jobs are few and far between, but when I get the chance, I usually do them.
My son goes and mows lawns. My kids have had lemonade stands.
We also will do garage sales when we are in need of money.

I have considered doing mystery shopping as it does sound like a lot of fun. Just not sure since I work Full time, I would have the time. I remember the Lemonade stands from when I was growing up. They were a lot of Fun. I still wish I lived in a house so I could have a Yard Sale from time to time as I hate paying almost $50 a month for storage.

I have done some mystery shopping, and I have done some merchandising. If I were more organized and confident, I could probably replace one job with those things. I have a big can of aluminum cans I need to take to recycling, and I have been known to collect used printer cartridges and sell them to a place I know. I do not necessarily know that that is extra money, it is more like getting a return for a deposit, since I have had to buy the cartridges first. As a kid, we picked up returnable pop bottles, but that is not an option these days, at least not where I live.

Well, even if you have to buy the items first, when you can return these items somewhere and get a little extra back from them, it sure does help. Even if it is just a little extra $$ back, it does help some in the end keep these out of the landfills as well.

For my study i work in the weekend on Saturdays in a shop.During the week i work fulltime.
Working in the shop has given me lots of ideas to make things and sell things.Like making my own paintings, making wallets for example making lists for paintings. You can be as creative as you want.I get more and more ideas to help myself making extra money.Especially now i'm saving for a car.

These are great ideas. I used to have my Crafts listed in a Craft boutique where everything was on Consignment, plus you paid a small Fee. It was a lot of Fun. I did OK at first, and then I got too busy to keep up with it, so I moved out and have not considered it since.

Hi,
Well i am still a bit young (only 20 years old) and have made a lot of cash offline with offering my computer skills. I have made serveral programs for educational use. I sold them to different schools. Also in the netherlands computers are getting more and more important when teaching childeren. I try to get into this business because my mother is a teacher and I can get a lot of feedback from here. I also sold a lot of websites to business owners and sold a lot of stuff on flee markets.
With kind regards,
MOnline

The most money I've made has actually been the two things I love doing most: writing and crochetting. I've made some good money writing web content as a ghostwritter and have sold dozens of baby afghan & pillow sets (one set pictured here)

Well, as far as I can recall, when I was in my elementary days and having a vacation from school; my younger brother and I decided to try our skills in business. Fortunately, we were able to sell a few of our handmade crochet pieces.
Then, more than five years ago, my younger sister tried to sell our old clothes and accessories at a garage sale. This went on for two to three days. The earnings were divided between the two of us naturally.
And now that I have my own family, I still engage myself with this stuff either to clear some space and / or to earn extra money. But this time, I collect used sheets of paper, magazines, newspapers, plastic bottles, breakable bottles, tin cans, and cartons on a monthly basis. Once I have collected at least a kilo of each stuff, I bring it to the nearest junk shop in our place. Somehow, it adds up to our current cash on hand to be used for our daily expenditures.

In the recent past I have made witnessing bracelets. They are plastic beaded bracelets with different words on them such as I (Heart) Jesus, Jesus (heart) you, F.R.O.G.(Fully Rely On God) P.R.A.Y. (Pray, Repent, Ask, Yield) Those are just a few of the type that I've made and sold. I've really been meaning to post them somewhere on the internet, but with working as much as I do, have never found the time to do it.
