Thanks for the warning. I am always ware before opening any email. It is a potential hread. That's why I use programmes such as Pop Peeper which enable you to donwload the headlines without actually downloading the email. thus you can delete any email that is hazardous. I hope that you have safeguarded your computer b using anti spyware programmes.

Is there any spyware/spamware that can protect you from Trojan horses? I have the extended Webroot...and McAfee Site Advisor...but I see you recomment Pop Peeper which I have not heard of!
ANOTHER URGENT WARNING...WHICH I JUST RECEIVED..(checked on Snopes)...There is a new one entitled "Obama's acceptance speech"....do not open, delete, it is accompanied with a computer destroying Trojan Horse! Please check it out & forward to your friends, as it is very timely, right now! Cheers!

Pop Peeper is not an anti spyware but enables you to read your emails and delete them without damaging your computer. I mean if you notice a suspious email you can delete it before it does any harm
Two good antispyware are Adaware and Spybot search and destroy. Thanks for the BR Award. Both are free.

Sometimes I think it's scarier than we think! Just a horrible aside; but do computer companies hire hackers to create these viruses. Keeps us buying new equipment when ours was good. Keeps the spyware companies financially fluent too, doesn't it?
