It's obviously made up. When something happens one doesn't have an explanation for, and they are dangerously low on critical thinking, that person will give 'credit' for the event to something made up, like angels.

One more comment: if God's responsible for the spread of AIDS, why doesn't he protect the loyal member of a relationship from getting it from their partner if they have it? Again, either God has crappy aim, or he's cruel to let people who have never cheated on someone get AIDS.
Of course, both of those possibilities are less likely than the obvious possibility--that there is no divine 'hand' behind the spread of AIDS whatsoever. But if you INSIST that it's God's doing, then you're left with the foolish or cruel arguments. I wonder which you will choose.

I do believe to an extent that they are guardian angels. I have heard so many stories about people who have had things happen in their life and they owe it all to the angels watching over them. I do believe this at times also.

yes its true and i believe it .there used to be this television series then called "touched by an angel" it explains some of the things that angels do though i am not taking the programme as my point of reference.

I have watched touched by an angel and there is another show called ghost whisperer. I like to watch those shows. I love the movie Ghost also with Patrick Swayzee. It really gets to your emotions and thoughts.

Well in our Religion(Hinduism) there are no angels. In place of guardian angels we have "Kul Devas". A "Kul" is a family tree and "Deva" means God. Every family has some Kul Deva. These Gods are in exception to usual Gods like Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Indra etc. Unlike other Gods they are generally formless and nameless.In Hinduism we have more Gods than total number of humans on Earth!

thanks for your nice response in as much as am not very familiar with your religion i think that each religion has a way of recognising these entities called angel even if they re reffered to in different names

I believe in angels, they are there in the bible or most religious texts,
I have talked to them, asked for their intervention, and seen their work on earth
then there are the earth angels, the real flesh and blood people who do angel work, as well

yes you got it all right there are spiritual beings who you can call on and they act out your request especially when you feel there is no other way.there are also human beings who are just like that except that you can see,feel and touch them

I do believe in angels, but I find it difficult to believe that angels will help people in a visible and physical way. If they say they are emotionally helped in times of distress I understand, but angels to come down to the earth and get into business I find it little difficult to trust.

some of us need to experience it to believe it my own experience well is enough proof that they exist and help people though i have not seen any physically but you also need to know that we all will not experience the same situation in the same ways and we cannot define the same situation in the same ways

Of course it's true BYOLA, depending on what religious system or belief a person lives by.
Living under the faith I choose to live by, which is Christianity, the Bible speaks numerous times about angels. It speaks of God sending His angels to 'minister unto us' and I've seen them in action, so I know they exist.
If one believes in God,,,,then they know angels are around us. If someone doesn't believe in God, then I doubt they will believe in something like angels.
To each his own. I'm sure each person has their reasons to believe however they choose.
For those people who don't believe, I wish they would have respect for those who do.
