My favorite hiding place is on the back of our house near the dog's house. No one can really find me there. heheeh.

Oh yeah, my dog was quiet and always sleepy back then. Cheers!

....it has to be behind the small temple inside my grand mom's room (of course when she is not around when we used to sneak in)- the best hideout ever. lol..
PS: Places of worship have been the most safe and unreachable hideouts of criminal activities for always all over the world...lol..

There was a couple of different places that I liked to hide in the house. We had a attic that was just great for hiding in. It had all different kind of places in the attic itself to hide. So it was a perfect hiding place. We also had a basement that I loved to hide in. There was stuff stored down there so there were things I could hide behind and boxes that I could climb into. Then of course on the second floor where there were the bedrooms which had loads of places to hide in. The only place that was off limits was Mom and Dad's bedroom. Of course you know kids being kids there were a couple of times I braved the possiblity of Mom and Dad finding out just so I wouldn't be found. My brothers and sisters would never think of going in there because in their eyes I would never be brave enough to hide in there. One favorite place. No way I had all kinds of places that were my favorite.

I had to have a few places to hide because with ten brothers and sisters the hiding places were taken quickly. And who ever was it drew no mercy. When ever the it person got to the last count down number the race was on.

My kids like hiding under the duvet in my bed, which drives me nuts as they leave a trail of bits of grass and twigs behind them!
I remember having to take a very long car journey with my son when he was very small. I had him in the car seat in the passenger seat next to me so I could chat to him whilst I drove, and I still remember a great game of hide and seek we played as we came up the M1. I had a blanket, and I'd hold it up between the two of us, then drop it down and yell Boo!!! Or he's put it over his head and hide, and I'd need to 'find' him! I'm sure the truckers looking down itno my car thought we'd lost our minds entirely, but it made a long journey pass a little quicker :-)
It's harder playing hide and seek with your kids when you're an adult, as you don't fit into any of the spaces that they do!

That's very kind of you Balasri, I appreciate it and am glad you enjoyed my little story.
My son is now a little bigger, but still a big fan of hide and seek. What amuses me is that he now plays the same game with his little brother, hiding under the duvet and waiting to be pounced upon :-)

Oh definitely under the stairs! I had the advantage because when I used to play with my cousins they would never go under there because they were frightened of spiders and the dark! It was obvious I was in there but once they finally opened the door to the cupboard I would shout boo! They hated it, so I won, mind you I used to be left in there too long and in the end I got bored and came out, I guess they figured that too, wasn't much fun being in the cupboard on my own!

Yeah I use to play hide and seek when I was young all those were the days. I remember me and my sister use to play with our causins in our condo which was kind of hard for me to find a spot since I was big and not to many good spots to hide in our condo but it was in all good fun. I loved playing in our house with my sister. I remember leaving her in her spot for an hour while I watched tv lol.
