No More "Smilin' Bob"

It was with a great deal of satisfaction that I heard on the news last night that we have seen the last of ol' Smilin' Bob from the Enzyte commercials. For those of you who are unfamiliar with these commercials, they were pushing a male enhancement drug. I found them to be in the poorest of taste. Well, it seems that they were also found to be fraudulent and there were other charges levied against them. So, I'm a happy camper knowing that I won't have to see Smilin' Bob's face on my TV screen again. What are your thoughts on these kinds of ads? Do you find them to be in poor taste?

I am so happy to see 'Smilin Bob' gone for good. I change the channel everytime one of these male enhancement commercials come on. Enough is Enough already. If someone has an male enhancement problem, it might be a wiser choice to see their doctor instead of letting 'Bob' advise them. Good Ridance. Lloyd

My feelings exactly, lloyd! Who better to take your problem to than a doctor you trust.

Well, sarah, he was still smiling as of last night. I suppose it will take some time for them to stop showing the commercials.

Well the world will be a better place without the commercial. I think it's too much to be on tv with...and I for one won't miss him.

I'm sure, jillhill, that there are many of us who will not mark his absence in any way.

Yes, Feona, they could have added stupidity to the list of objections.

I found that commercial to not only be in poor taste but also to be insulting to my intelligence. Good riddance.
