Since we are doing so much on here? I was just wondering about that. I am not talking about mylot I am talking about signing in and out, on the main Computer, or internet? Do you do this or do you always keep it running? I know you can still turn it off with out signing off. Thanks~~marcie

I have to sign off and back on sometimes. My internet service provider only keeps me online for about 3 hours anyway and then a little window pops up and asks me if I wish to stay online. If I do not choose yes or no within a given amount of time, it signs me off. I would like to keep it running sometimes but it is impossible since I have to deal with my providers guidelines.

I wouldn't like that, being able to stay online for three hours, what service do you have?

I have Netscape. I used to have AOL and Netscape is owned by them too. It is so dumb because I will be working and that window will popup and aksd me if I wish to stay online. It drives me nuts.

The experts advise to sign out, but when I am not working during the day, I stay signed in because I am in and out of the house constantly!
I don't sign out until I go to bed!

I only sign out from websites and mail like mylot, yahoo mail or gmail. I have never signed out from main computer or net. Is this necessary? Is there any threat if I left it open?

My Computer is on 24 hours a day.
The only thing I turn down before going to bed is
the sound.
