smells knows its tste

guys, do you believe that by just smelling the food you cooked tells you how it taste? well to tell you the truth based on my experienced as a cook, my sense of smell tells me if what I am cooking tastes good or rather bad. and touching it also tellsme if its done or not.

Good on you, you are blessed with exceptional senses! I got a good idea of what the taste be because of the food/herbs/spices I have introduced...and a good idea of the doneness, by timing. But I like to taste, cause some of my herbs, spices may have lost their pungency...and my oven, burner may be a little out of whack in temperature. Happy cooking!
