What kind of dvd player do you have, and why?

I have Phillips dvd player. Phillips company has a good name and offered for a reasonable price. Hence I bought it. But now many companies offer even for less price. It is ok. As long as I took a good decision at that time considered to be best.

I have one DVD player connected to my TV along with my video recorder but i find this too complicated to use with the three things connected to it, I have one connected to my computer which is ok but I prefer to use my portable DVD player, it is so simple to use...

I have just a plain ole Magnavox DVD player that is hooked up to the television. I have that kind because that is all that I need to play my DVD's. We used to play them through our playstation but we heard it will eventually mess up the game system.

I have a Phillips brand DVD player. Truthfully I paid more money for a better brand because it plays just about every format of movie, CD, etc. I especially like the fact that it plays DivX movies because I back up every movie I own. I make one copy of every movie I own and burn them off into DivX formatted movies. I do this because I have either lost or have damaged a lot of the movies that I own and it's very expensive to have to replace them. I like my DVD player and the fact that it plays just about everything.
