Serena, who's been with us the longest, is going to a new home! I hadn't been looking real hard because I half hoped the former owner would want her back. But when I heard that she went from renting a room with someone to sleeping on a friend's couch I realized that she was just loosing ground instead and started looking for a new home. She had a lady who just loves her basketball shaped body, and stubby legs and whippy tail! So, that's another out! down to 23!!!

Cats don't wait on people, its the other way around (LOL) but that's fine, they can lay on me there just as easily as here and there I suppose I don't need to breath!

Well, that is great to hear. I am glad she got to go to a nice home where she will get lots of love and attention. I think all good pets should have good owners who will really take care of them. They are like a child and should be cared for if you own them.

That is great. I like cats but I am more of a dog lover, but it is good to know that these animals can be placed in good homes where they will be treated right.

I feel the same way about dogs. Theres a dog rescue group that always is coming to the store and meeting outside to find homes for dogs and I'm always glad to hear they found a home for one of their animals.

That's what I like about this rescue group, they seem to mostly be able to find really good homes for the cats.

Serena - Here's a pix of her
Ya know, I just never got that attached to her. Might've had something to do with her biting me about 2 months after bringing her in. Granted she was provoked. Solo was chasing her and she ran across my head. Was it HER fault I just happened to have the MIGRAINE from HELL? I was between phone calls from the doctor and expecting he was going to send me to the hospital (he did) and the cat bite was just icing in the cake - so to speak.

That's great! Now there are only 92 legs to trip over or stand on now! I hope she will be very happy in her new home.

Happily the house mostly keep the noises to ourselves. Its when they start fighting out on the cat porch that I would worry.

Yea! A quality adoption is always good. I would love to have a few more adoptions. Especially the adults. I have to bring them to America to get them adopted. That's very expensive. I have one pending for a kitten. They really want the kitten, white male with blue eyes, but nothing is a sure thing until the furface leave the house.

can you tell if the kitten is deaf? so many of the blue eyed white ones are - tho i've learned it has to do with "white spotting" rather than the white color.
