I love bacon and eggs, but because eggs are so high in cholesterol and bacon is full of fat, I usually just eat a banana or a bowl of cereal. I am diabetic so I have to be careful of my choices. Does anyone ever just have a Doughnut for breakfast?

I eat anything and everything for my breakfast. I eat porridge, fried rice, plain rice with some main dish, i eat doughtnut, some Malay kuih - sweet things, Nasi Lemak - Rice cooked in coconut milk and serve with fried egg, fried peanut, dried chilies gravy, fried dried anchovies and some slices of cucumber. I also eat bread spread with some jam and butter. I normally take a huge and heavy breakfast so if i have a doughnut, then it would be only my sweet after the savory main breakfast.

Wow that's quite a different breakfast from another part of the world. Sounds interesting, I would like to try it some day!

In a perfect world I would sit down with six powdered donuts and a huge mug of coffee. But alas I am a lard as# and would explode if I did this! On weekends I love scrambled eggs bacon and toast. On weekdays I just don't have time to cook a breakfast so I make a "breakfast shake" I put in banana, orange juice, yogurt and hemp hearts.

Yes and better for you....well sort of, eggs are very high in choesterol and you should only have about 3 a week, and you don't even want to know about bacon.

During the weekdays and Saturdays I don't have time to cook. I usually sit down and eat a bowl of cereal or malt o meal for breakfast. I do have an all breakfast every Sunday though. It's Eggs, Sausage, Hashbrowns, and Toast. That's the one day we don't eat lunch because by the time I cook breakfast for all 7 of us we are still full.

I would be trying to grab something a little more nutricious than a doughnut, but the sugar will give you energy...just not a good choice. How about a piece of fruit!

i'm usually in a hurry every morning if i'm going to work. so i'll just have things like cereal, bread or cake with milk and tea.

Doughnut for breakfast is not my thing.. but it is a food i like to eat for midday snack. I like eggs with tomatoes or simply just egg and a bread

I usually eat wotever i get my hands on.... But i like to eat Roti(indian dish) and Eggs.... because Roti is made of wheat and it give lots of energy. Even if i dont have my lunch, its fine because i have a heavy breakfast. And 2-3 roti's are enough to gather alot of energy.

Wheat is good for you so that sounds like a good breakfast. Breakfast is the first and best meal of the day.
