I already know I'll get get reported for this...lol...but this is just me! Have you seen the one with one word/liner responses AND discussions? Not only one word but very mean words to some. Have you been hit by this member? I've reported this member more than once are you reporting too? I knew mylot was too quiet and it was time for something like this. What do you think?

I have been to a few disussions this morning, where they had a poster who posted, a one word response. It was nothing really bad, simple words like, "so, wow". I wasn't sure what it was all about.
I don't know how to report someone, and not sure if we can only report something if it's on our own discussions?

Nope, sorry I haven't seen that one. Just the two I had mentioned. I do think it's highly uncalled for.
Thank you for the information on how to report someone. I never reported anyone on any program I belong to, but it's always good to know just incase I have to.

As usual I got a fast response from admin saying he is not the younger brother of Crash! They even apologized and deleted him....so that's the end of him!

I am glad that I have not been hit with any mean responders recently, as they get on my nerves. However, you are not the first one to mention this happening in the past few days. Hopefully this person will be removed soon.

he is gone and admin was pretty fast at getting rid of him once they realized what was going on.

I think you are referring to the same person I am thinking of. Few days back another fellow mylotter started a discussion saying that a member answers in one word. I checked that friend's discussion and got him. I am yet to report him. Till he has not answered any of my discussion.

I haven't looked around much today but I know last week someone left two responses of "good" on my discussion titled "I wrecked my car". They were deleted by the time I actually came here to do anything about them. I never knew if they were stand alone responses being mean about me wrecking my car or if they were left as comments intending to mean that some of the responses I'd gotten were 'good'. I think I remember who left them so I'll have to look around and see what I find today...and yes I will report them.

I found the fatty comments and also the American fatty one. UGH! I reported them....There were others like yes, so, wow etc too. Did you read the discussions started? Some looked like very broken English while others were perfect. Definitely something fishy with that user...and he claims to be associated with our mylot member 'Crash' HA!

It's me again with an update...I just checked that person's profile and every response and discussion appears to have been deleted. Looks like he's been "taken care of".

yes, he's gone. After I emailed admin they got right back to me apologizing for this idiot. I think more people have to start reporting these people.

Well it seems the problem has been resolved now as you say the user has been deleted. There are some odd people on this site as there are on any other site. The best thing to do when we come across people like that is to report them. If it's a new person one could assume that they don't know how the site works yet but if they had a star rating it means they'll have been around long enough to know what the score is. Responsible users of myLot should carry on their good work starting great discussions and participating on others' discussions and reporting the jokers :)

Well I hope all who saw him reported him. It does not take too long to get rid of them if we consistantly report abuse of the site. We do not need mean people here.

Hi, ctrymuziklvr. I haven't experienced the lovely one worder yet. But I understand your 2 cents. It is just annoying and I agree with you for reporting it.

Thankfully I haven't run into this person yet. If I do I probably will report it because it's people like that who try to take the fun out of sites like this.

Yes, I have had the displeasure of his responses several times. Today he left something I felt was very mean hearted and I reported him. When I came home this afternoon his remark had been deleted. Thank you very much Mylot admin.

I hate it when someone goes through and puts in a great discussion and get answers that are way off the mark or just one line or word answers. Respect is something that is earned on both parties, not freely given so to be respected, one has to respect. Yes I would report the person too.

I don't know who you are talking about so I guess I haven't been hit by him/her yet. But I do know I haev seen lots of discussions and responses that are just one liners. I don't think these people know the rules or they wouldn't be posting that way, since they can't be making much money from them, if any at all. I have tried, on purpose, posting very short responses, not one linersm, but maybe 3 or 4 lines, and didn't get much earnings for them. I am always ecperimenting in mylot to see what are the best ways to earn more money. I have also done the opposite, and posted really really long discussions and found when they are too long, not very many people respond to them, so again my earnings aren't that great. So I am now posting inbetween really long and short, and I find that way I am earning the most.

I always thought maybe they cant speak English that well? I didnt think we got paid for less then 4 sentences. What gets me is there was one person who literally posted pretty much the same discussion promoting there link several times in a row. What sup with that? I want ya'll to be my referrals to but thats your choice if you visit my page and like it fine. I would do one discussion about it and thats it.

I have seen them and once or twice I have been guilty of starting a discussion without writing reams of supporting information. I try to comment in detail but it is when replying to points that others have made that I find difficult. Some of them repeat what has already been said and it starts to get tricky coming up with something new and original. But I try. You are making a good point here. I don't know that I would be bothered to report people (unless they are abusive), but there is a spirit in posting and we should all follow it.

I've seen him and reported him, altho not been hit by him. I don't have a problem doing this as it is the nature of forums to attract people like that and banning is the only way to stop it.
