lies,lies.lies!are you guilty ?

i have found myself tell some lies in times past and i sometimes dont feel comfortable about it,when we represent things in a different manner as to cover up the facts it means its a lie,i have been told lies too.under what circumstances will you tell lies or do we have perfect saints here who have never told a lie before?

I have to say that I am not good at telling lies ever since I was a little girl. But I did tell lies sometimes. When I don't want others to know that much about me or about something, I prefer to tell a lie. I will feel guilty but I think it's necessary for me too. What a paradox!

i do tell lies myself but the funny things is am not so good at covering my tracks once i lie so i try the best as i can not to lie especially to people close to me as i will be the one to expose myself in not too ong a time

that makes the two of us ,i hate it when i tell lies and i still go ahead to bust myself up so i try the best i can to tell the truth,though it gets tough

I think we have all lied at some point and time in our life even though we are not proud of it. I try not to tell any major lies but I have lied about a few things to spare someones feeling, etc. I think we have all told little white lies also just to save ourseleves of the heartache from telling the truth.

LOL. I would love to meet them also. some people claim they have not lied but sometimes I think they do not realise that maybe at somne point and time, they did not tell the whole truth.

you are correct and if anyone says they havent told any form of lie then i guess i will love to meet them so they can just teach me what to do so i can also become saint byola(hahahahaha)

I dont know if there would be on earth that is a perfect saint. I hate to lie, but i think in one way or another I have lied during the childhood years. But as of now, I think i never did lie to my wife. She knows everything. From the moment I knew her, I told her everything that she have to know. I do not lie to cover up something. I dont think that I can sleep when i do that. I would rather have us to discuss things than to lie

i think one way or the other we have all told some kind of lies its great to hear that you dont tell your wife any lies but what about other people around you ever told any lies to any of them?

thanks for your sincerity at least i know that there are still people who are sincere even when many people will deny that ver lied before,acceptance shows you intend to find a way to deal with it.

I have lied, when it is something that won't hurt anyone it doesn't make any difference, for example if my Mam says "have you put your clothes away" and I say "yes" when I haven't but I am planning on doing so soon, so it will get done.

you are definitely saying that as long as you know what you lied about does not hurt anyone its fine by you.i thank you for at least being very sincere some think they are saints and responded that they have never told a lie before ,do you think there are people like that on this planet?

No I don't, it might be a negative view but I think people will have lied at some point and most of them will have done so knowingly, just felt bad about it later and denied doing it.

i realy dont lie, honest, i just dont tell the whole truth, now that isnt a lie right, its either half truths or i dont answer back, thats it, i dont lie realy, im not saying im a saint though, lol, now that would be lying to yourself, something i would never ever do

well,i am happy to announce to you that when a truth is half then there is an elemnt of lies in it i dont know how you see this but the truth is you have lied one way or the other,there is no one that can claim to be really clean from this thing called lie

I'm guility myself of little white lies. And if not that then lying by omission, thinking that if I just don't mention something or leave out certain details of something that it's not an outright lie which we all know isn't true. It's still a lie no matter how you look at it.

you are quite right ,sometimes we try to play smart and out smart ourselves i have been guilty of this too,but i am trying to be as truthful as i can it pays on the long run

I know how to lie and I can do it very well, if I do say so myself. I just don't like to do it, so I avoid it as often as I can.
First, I don't think many things are worth lying about. Second, lying has a way of coming back to bite you in the butt. Third, you are rarely doing anyone a favor by lying and when the truth comes out you just look stupid and cowardly.
I have lied about many different things for many different reasons and I can honestly say those lies served no purpose except to shield me from taking the heat that the truth sometimes produces.
At this stage in my life I am what some people refer to as brutally honest. Frankly, I resent the label, the truth can be a lethal weapon but I make an effort not to hurt people with the truth if I can.
