Me and my husband have been married going on 6 years now. Here lately, I been feeling the need for a vacation. I need an escape from life. And was thinkin' maybe taking a second honeymoon? Well, actually it would be the first since we didn't really have one when we got married (which was in Vegas). Am I just being silly? Do people really do the whole "Second Honeymoon thing? Like renewing their vows?

Of course you should go. I'm not married or anything but I still think it's a good idea. It's allways good to get away from your job, your city life, etc. If I was in your place I'd go to a mountain resort, somewhere fun and romantic. :D

I have heard about the seven year itch that can happen after seven years marriage. I suggest that couples have second honeymoon six years after the wedding to stop the seven year itch happening. It must have been exciting to have got married in Las Vegas. I guess that you didn't have time for e honeymoon after your wedding. So why not have one now? You could choose Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, Dominican Republic or Bermuda. I am sure you would take lots of photos and celebrate your second honeymoon with such joy.

I have heard of the seven year itch too, and actually pick on my husband about it. Yes, it was exciting to get married in Vegas, and we actually spent a week there. I'm just not sure that it constitue as a "honeymoon". Thank you for your response and all the suggestions in which you have given me. Only problem now is with all those suggestions, how will I ever choose.

Since you haven't experience the honeymoon after your marriage, I think this will be a great time for it. You can find some great spots at website hangelbel-travel dot blogspot dot com.

We too didnot go for a honeymoon after our marriage. And I am really waiting for an opportunity to go for one atleast now. I think it is a great idea to go for one. You will feel your relationships getting rejenuvated and it will give you a real good and new ideas about your spouse.

I appreciate your response. Thank you. Me and my husband have a very good relationship, we are still very much "in love". I just feel we need some quality time away from the kids, and the grand child. Since we didn't have a honeymoon persay, I would like to take one.

And why not? I say go for it.It will be a nice vacation. It may be a romantic kick in the pants. Sometimes in the day to day of things we forget to pay attention to one another.I think people should do it if they have the chance. Let us know how it goes! You know, beach, somewhere warm. Or maybe somplace a little cooler for better snuggle time. Limitless possibilities.
