He has made a lot of films and I would bet most people would probably say 'It's a wonderful life' but for me it's Harvey.
I just love the character of Elwood P. Dowd and the way he accepts everyone he meets and of course Harvey himself, the mischievous pooka.
Which is yours and why?

I love so many Jimmy Stewart Movies. He did a large range of movies; however, the one I watch several times at the holidays is It's a Wonderful Life, which is great every time I view it.
My favorite is Bell Book and Candle, which was a funny movie with a romance. It stars several great stars including Jack Lemon, Kim Novak, and Ernie Kovacs. My daughter loves the cat.

It's a long time since I've seen that one. I wish they'd put a season of his films on as it's always the same ones, at least here in the uk it is.

Wow, I'm not sure I can pick one. I have it narrowed down to three. Harvey is one. It's just incredibly funny, and he does a good job as Elwood. I also like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, because he's just so earnest and decent. And, Vertigo, because it's Hitchcock, and it shows a different side to him, and he does an excellent job there.

It is a difficult choice as you're spot on he has made some great films, although I would go with the majority and include It's a wonderful life in my top 3.

I do love Harvey and hate to admit but I haven't ever seen "It's a wonderful life"! Of his films that I have seen though, I really liked his acting in Rear Window and Vertigo (both Hitchcock films). Steward was a lovely character and there was something really suave but cute about him generally:)

Liked most of his westerns although my favourite film isn't a western it's Mr Smith goes to Washington. Stewart plays Jefferson Smith, liked it where he talked and talked in the senate

I'm not a big western fan so haven't seen any of his westerns. Maybe I'll make the effort to watch some as I presume he plays his usual easy going character in them.

Well my favourite has to be “It’s a Wonderful Life” because I am sure it was the first time I ever saw Jimmy Stewart and just loved his performance through out from the despair right through to the humour, it has everything.
But I am yet to find a Jimmy Stewart movie I didn’t like and would happily sit down to the likes of “Harvey”, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”, “The Glenn Miller Story”, “Rear Window”, “Vertigo” and “The Man from Laramie” the list just goes on and on, lol.
