Ok I think my little Fellow thought he was funny today
He has never done this before but today he decided he was trying the howling bit while sitting sweet
Problem is Gissi is not able to howl as he has something wrong with his throat so it comes out more like crying and it breaks my Heart
The more I say to him please don't, the more he did it
Well if you would like to join him here he is

Shame he can't howl like me, and I am a great howler! I could always teach him to howl, oh bless him I just want to hug my bessie mate! I love him to bits, can the vet do anything for his poor throat? Is it an infection sweetheart? I want us to both howl away together, we could do a duet xxx

Hey there Sweetheart
I know you are a bit fragile today but if I could have contacted you last Sunday you could have met your little Friend lol as we where in Kent last Sunday
The thing with his throat is permanent that is why he chokes a lot
Something in his throat is not straight it is slightly bent so he can't howl it comes out so sad
But he can bark believe me lol xxx

LOL and I bet he did it just because he knew you would tell him to stop :):)
Tazz is more the silent type, but sometimes, when we all are joking around and singing as in a choir he tends to things he can help us so he starts howling as well. It's actually funny but not if he does it for long :)

He is not howling. Gissi is singing. He is trying to sing at least. Lizzie and Gizmo don't sing but they do talk. They have certain barks and growls for water, go out, play, I am mad, I want to sleep, go away, etc.

Poor little fellow I think he just needs to hear himself even if it is dreadful sounding.
I wish Petie did not have to hear himself so much hahaha.

Gissi sounds like a child with a hoarse voice, who keeps on talking just to hear the difference in their voice! Hope Gissi is doing better today!

Aww, little guy.
Yes, my first cat ever (who meant the world to me!), also had something wrong with his throat. Not sure if it was partially at least when he was spayed. But it was so sad. He didn't have a meow. But only when he really, really needed to meow (once every few years!), he could only make a tiny little cut off chirp sound.
Sylvie right now, she chirps too, but can chirp much more. Gissi realizes how much attention it draws from you, so eager to continue. Sounds like a sweetie.

Awww poor Gissi. No howling. Check out my newer discussions.
I have one about Busters howling with a photo attatched.
He loves to howl at any noise or smell out of the ordinary.
Thanks.
