So.....What's for lunch?

I'm sitting here at my computer desk eating my chicken ceasar salad that I just made and thinking...What are you having for lunch today?
You see, my salad was a bit of an experiment today as I was wondering what to have and looked up in my cupboard and saw a can of Maple Leaf Chicken Chunks of which I have never ever tried before but purchased on sale a few weeks ago and thought gee that looks like it might make an awesome salad and so with some leaf lettuce from my fridge, parmesan cheese, bacon bits and ceasar dressing and I am here enjoying a delicious salad that just took maybe five minutes to make:)
So, as I asked above what are you having for lunch today?
What is your favorite lunch to make and eat?
Is it easy to throw together or complicated?

It looks like we are in the same time zone but my lunch was late today! :)
Looks like pizza is popular today wish I had some to go with my salad which is all gone now and was so yummy I could have went for seconds but alas no more chicken...
*sobs*
Now I'm having a pity party as there is no more salad and no pizza! :( LOL

I would so love to come and and share yours and have a wee chat . I have not long had my dinner as it is 7:30 here . I am trying to loose some weight and I had a fresh fruit salad with a low fat yogurt and it was gorgeous , nice to chat again pal xx

I love love love ordering out for chinese at work for lunch. That has to be my favorite lunch (unhealthy but favorite!!). For a healthy lunch I love a good turkey sandwich on wheat with some fruit on the side.

Your salad sounds really yummy apart from the Ceaser dressing, I prefer balsamic or vinaigrette! lol I think I was on a toast day today! i have those types of days sometimes! i think my favourite lunch for me and teh kids is french toast - we all love that, or toasted cheese sandwiches! Lunch has to be easy and light - half the time I can't face it at all! I wish I could give you a hug and make you feel less lonely! xx

My lunch to is most often quick and easy with the hectic schedule I have hence my salad today. I also get tired of eating the same stuff all the time and try to find different things to make for lunch.....
I'd love to spend some time with you also :)

Toadays lunch was: roast beef, roast gammon, potatoes mashed and roasted, carrots, sweetcorn, couliflower, yorkshire pubs, roast parsnips (not my fav) and cravy! Just another english sunday lunch - Yummy lol!
My fav dish to cook is spaghetti bolognaise but my recipe is another discussion entirely lol

Sounds like a wonderful Sunday Lunch and most likely spent with family:)

Well somehow I missed this Discussion
For Lunch I normally just have a Yoghurt and I normally will have my Meals at Night
In the Summer I love my Salads in the Winter it is mainly Pasta, baked Potatoes or just what ever I fancy lol

It's no wonder that you have missed this discussion....
I am sure that a lot of us are missing a lot of discussions due to these glitches!! 
I definitely do tend to eat my larger meal at night also and have more pastas etc in winter!

I decided to have scrambled eggs for lunch. We usually have sandwiches, either grilled cheese, ham sandwiches, salmon sandwiches, or bacon and tomato and lettuce, only I use ham with it. But the ham was still frozen, so I made scrambled eggs, and that is what we had. My favorite is soup, especially the thick kind with lots of beef and vegetables and we usually have that on Sunday, but today was Monday, so we had something different.

I have been thinking about chicken salad all morning so I think that I will have a chicken salad sandwich on seeded rye with some fresh sprouts that should be ready today... oh and I purchased the most wonderful vine ripened tomatoes yesterday - truly astonished how they taste like home grown... I have bought them before without such lovely flavor and texture...
it is only 11am but I am really craving that sandwich now.

I like quick and easy things also.....
Today I had a Hot Dog because it is March Break and my son wanted Hot Dogs! :)
I have a feeling it is going to be a week of Kraft Dinner, Chicken Fingers, and Hot Dogs! LOL

Now the lunch time is not come , but I think today's lunch I will have rice , some vegetables and pork ,because our company's eatery only have these foods! And I don't want to have these foods any more.

If you don't enjoy the food offered by your work you could pack a lunch from home as this would give you some variety! :)

I live by myself and I don't cook food myself, so I can't pack food, Our company is out of the way, so we can't call fast food,

My absalute favorite lunch to make and eat is Tuna Caserole. But I will only make it if all the kids are home from school, because it is too much for me and my 4 year old, plus all the kids really love it. I also like to make a salad from leftover chicken, I will shredd it and put it on top of lettuce, with a little shredded cheese and some Good Seasons Italian dressing, it has to be Good Seasons Italian Dressing though. I also like to make grilled cheese sandwhiches. Most days though I will just pop in a Lean Cuisine.

Whether or not I eat lunch varies from day to day..however I will be eating lunch today because I put in a good Part 1 of my workout so I need to fuel...especially since I still have Part 2 to do this afternoon.....What will I be having? Hhmmm its a toss up between a chicken caeser salad or an egg salad sandwich....then again I might just have a slimfast and have my salad or sandwich for supper tonight :-D

i had my lunch today with my "Chicken Adobo". a Pinoy (philippines)made recipe!!... and i put some potato on it. well actually i was not one who coke it!!it was my husband who did!!...and honestly its not delicious.... lol.. my hisband just have an idea about how to cook it but definitely dont know to do it!!... i dont have a choice but to eat it than to waste it!!..anyways... my husband cooked it for us with all of his heart!!.. ^_^

I had a pretty unhealthy lunch today. I had pizza rolls and a Coke. I made my husband eggs with bell pepper with cheese and put it on an english muffin.
My daughter had scrambled eggs.
I didn't feel like eating at all. It hasn't been a great day.

Ham and cheese sandwich isn't too bad only that shouldn't be your breakfast and your lunch...That isn't much to go on until Dinner :(

I'm am making my specilty: Mr. Noodles chicken Noodles. Mine is harder then you think. I boil them well stirring constentlyand then empty out water. when i put the noodles in the bowl i put chicken flavoring in and then i mix some more seasoning like garlic, parsley and somtimes sometimes some suger and salt. once and a while i throw in other seasonings but it comes out relly great. MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. SKREW SALAD
