Is there some type of clothing you do not feel comfortable wearing?

I have been fat all my life and I never felt comfortable wearing jeans, so I never have. My ex sister in law always wore long sleeves, because she did not want to wear short sleeves and expose her so called skinny arms. Is there some kind of clothing that you feel uncomfortable in? if so why, if not why not?

I don't feel comfortable wearing briefs, because I find they are too tight around my privates, I prefer them loose so I always wear boxers which are roomy and give me more room to breath. I could never get used to briefs and I would always get those marks around the waist where they had been. I can't wear pink either, I hate anything pink, because for a bloke to wear pink is totally girly and unmacho, sorry but I feel uncomfortable in pink, horrid colour.

I hate wearing skirts, because I don't have very nice shapely legs. Oh yes, they have shape to them... just not a nice, sexy, stereotypical woman's nice shape. There is also now the issue of varicose veins and excess swelling since having kids, and it only got worse after my blood clot last spring. I own a few skirts, but I never wear them. Oddly enough though, I'll wear shorts and capris all summer long. lol.

That's good to know. How about a kilt? A man in a kilt is uber sexy... especially when worn properly. **nudge nudge wink wink**

I don't want to wear tight dress. It just does not give me space to move around freely. I also find it funny when some pot bellied man would wear tight t-shirt with their belly bulging out.

I have never liked wearing short shirts that are intended to show your mid-drift. Not because I don't like my mid-drift showing but because I always feel like I should be pulling them down. Even though they may be made to fit they way, I somehow feel like I am wearing something made for a kid. I am just uncomfortable the whole time. I like to always be comfortable.

I'm really uncomfortable wearing skirts. I have nice legs but the exposure or risk of exposure really makes me uneasy.

I have sort of flabby arms so I hate wearing sleeveless things. I guess I'm completely the opposite of your ex sister in law! Short skirts as well do not bode well for me. They get in the way of me sitting comfortably, so I can't stand those either.

I too don't really like jeans, also because of my weight. I also don't like shirts that are too thight and show off your curves (the undesired ones) too much!

I cannot stand wearing dresses. I have never liked thema and i don't think they look good on my body figure at all or with the way I walk. I wear jeans but I have never really thought I look good in those either but I do prefer them over any kind of slacks or sweatpants.

Hi rose, I used to be real self-conscious with my body while growing up. No matter how my mother forced me to wear something girly, I stubbornly refused to wear it and preferred the loose shirts, over sized jeans and a pair of sneakers. Everything changed when I entered University. A good friend told me that we should learn to love our body even with the extra fats or hanging flabs or whatsoever. My body is not perfect but I'm not afraid to clad on my swimsuit and go about swimming with my girls. Any clothes will do for as long as I'm comfortable. :)

I am not comfortable wearing britches - sleeveless tops - shorts - low necklines - skirts that are not well below the knee - high heels - hospital gowns. I used to not be comfortable wearing a swim suit - but now that I have a swim dress I am perfectly fine wearing it. my reason is I do not like to expose my body parts - they are for my husband alone.

I don't like wearing shorts or sandals. I stick to jeans and sneakers even in the middle of summer. I'm also not much of a hat person but will wear one under the right circumstances...like a ball cap if I'm outside and need my hair to stay out of my face or a winter hat if it's really cold out.

I would not feel comfortable wearing womens undies. A mini skirt would freak me out! A bra would slide down over my bellybutton. Yes I can think of many kinds of womens clothing that would make me uncomfortable mainly because I'm a man!
