I just got me My own Apartment. Just an Hour away. My Internet will be down for a while but I still have access to a computer. I will be doing so packing in a few days, Have you moved lately? I am going to have fun fixing up my own apartment. I have so much stuff I need to get rid of. I guess I will call up Salvation Army to get rid of some of things I don't want. I have accumulated so much stuff. I don't want to throw anyhing away, because it is too nice to throw away.~~~ Thanks Marcie~~~

Are you leaving your husband? Is it because of that other woman? Girl what is going on with you? I know you are not moving because of the washing machine/dryer thing?

I bought a new apartment three years ago and moved in early this year. It took me a long time to model it and choose fine furnitures. I used blue and white painting the wall, which makes me relax after a whole day's hard working.

What is going on, this seems very sudden, did something happen. I do hope that things are ok with you. Good luck with your move, what side of Cleveland are you going to move too. I moved 2 1/2 yrs ago, right next door. We bought the house, you would think the move would have been easy, it wasn't. I sill have stuff to do to this house, painting stuff like that. I still haven't got all my stuff up on the walls yet. Some of my boxes got buried in the side room. I have to get off my lazy butt and get busy. I should say I need to get off the computer and get busy around here, I have all kinds of projects that I need to get busy with. Marcie if something is going on you can call me and talk or email me. Take care.

My goodness, you're going to be one busy gal doing all that packing and stuff! I haven't moved in many, many, years, and I don't think I would look forwards to it if I had to! I know what you mean about accumulating things over the years, sometimes it seems like it multiplies like rabbits hahaha. I hope you will enjoy your new apartment and have fun setting it up. Glad to hear that you'll still be able to get on the internet, I'd miss you if you weren't around!!! Hugs....Joy

(I think I could drive that in my sleep lol) Nice town, lots to see and do there. I like nosing around Akron too. I wish you all the best, and peace and happiness too!

i have moved several times and everytime i moved i ended up starting over only because whenever o moved it was to a different province and i never had a vehicle so i could only take so much with me on the grey hound or the air plane. moving can be a hassle at times tho.

So does that mean your husband isn't moving with you? At least I thought you were married. I have accumulated a lot of stuff too over the last 12 years that I have lived here. My plan is to gradually get rid of things that I don't need over the next year, and hope to move into a condo within the next four years.

Happy move. Suggestion, if you can, put all the stuff that you want to keep but you don't have room for into storage. That way you can keep you stuff while keeping you new place clutter free.

Oh Really? You are moving by yourself? I wish you the best Marcie. I always thought it was alot of fun to move to a new place and decorate it. I would defnitely donate to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or your church. That is a very good idea. Good luck and best wishes on your move.

I always check my neighbors and the people near me to see if anyone needs things before I take them anywhere. Where I live if you put things out on the sidewalk with a free sign they disappear. I always rather have my neighbors have something first. xoxoxoxoxo

Marcie, Have you ever heard of freecycle. It is through yahoo, and what it is is a community group that is linked to a national group. Everything on the site is free, if you have something to give you post it, people reply, you choose who it goes to, then if there is something you need you can post a wanted for it and people who have that item will respond to you. The group was created to keep good stuff out of our landfills, you know we throw so much stuff away in this country that is still usable, and the landfills are quickly becoming overfilled. I used to give stuff to Goodwill, and Salvation Army, but it has gotten to the point where they charge people way too much for the items they they paid nothing for. There are so many people who can't afford to feed their children properly, and groups like freecycle take a big burden off these families. Please go on line and see if you have a group already established in your area, most places do, if not start one, it is easy to do, and so rewarding. Blessings Marilyn

Thankfully, we have been living in the one house for a year now! yay! A big achievement for us! lol. In the past, we have picked the wrong landlords, but now, we are very happy because the lease is through an agency that caters for low income families and we are guaranteed a roof over our heads. hope your move goes well for you!

We moved about 6 1/2 years ago to another province so we gave away pretty much everything we owned, to family and friends, since our stuff wasn't worth the expense to move it all. We only kept the things that meant something to us, like pictures and important papers. We lived in Calgary for 5 years and then my husband got transferred back to Winnipeg, again. So we left everything there behind as well, and had to start all over again here. Now after 18 months living here again we are now moving back to Calgary again, so again we are leaving everything behind and starting over again. We will be moving in about 2 weeks and I am excited this time about it, because I love and miss living in Calgary. So this time I don't mind having to start all over again. Again I will just take the important things with us and give everything else away, for the third time.

My hubby and I moved into the place we are now about a year ago. Well, it will be a year in May. I dreaded packing stuff up and all of that, but we had such a small amount of stuff, that it took the movers two hours to pack move everything from our old apartment a good thirty minutes away to our new place. So, it wasn't all that bad. On the same token, I don't want to have to move again for a long time.

I hate moving, I would stay in the same house all of my life if I could. I lived the first 18 years of my life in the same home, 23 years in another, just don't like to move.
