what kind of a learner are you? some people are visual learning they need to see things to understand them, they are the people that like all the pie charts and graphics and colours etc, some people are oral learners the listen to learn how to do do something these are the people that do the best in the classroom listening to the teacher, - I am that kind of learner and then there are the tactile learners, they they do want to see how to do, hear how to do it, they got to dig right in with there hands and do it, to learn. which kind of learner are you?

I have a problem with my hearing so I rely mostly on visual. I will look at the person, the way he/she moves her mouth, and from there, I can gather what they are telling me.

I am a combination of the above. I need to see and understand first, then dig it right with my hands and start exploring and experimenting. Nothing gets into my head by just listening. I need visual plus practical.

I am probably the most like the tactile learner. I will take a book or instructions and the materials in my hands and do it step by step. I always did well in school in the class room as well, both looking and listening. I had a teacher tell us once that the more avenues you could use to absorb knowledge, the better you would retain it.

I am definitely a visual learner. You tell me something, and it will just fly over my head LOL.. well sometimes, sometimes I surprise myself and learn that way too.

It depends on what I'm learning. I hate to say it but I have to learn all three ways. I'm an auditory, visual and tactile learner when it comes to school. I have to see examples, hear someone say it to me and I need to practice it myself before I completely understand it. Anything else though I'm an auditory learner. Someone can explain a sport to me and I'll understand right away.. But school, nuh uh. I have to do all three.

I learned about this when I was studying. There are three types of learners. Visual, aural and kinesthetic. I am kinesthetic which means that I must carry out tasks myself to learn them. I am discovering this especially at the moment at my new job. I have to learn lots of new veterinary techniques and I find that if people just say "ok watch this" I can follow for a short time but after a while I get confused and find it hard to follow and I just want to say "Ok stop! Can you talk me through it while I actually do it myself?!" I wish I was a visual person. It would make learning so much easier!

I am a bit of a tactile learner, but I am more of a visual learner, I prefer to see how to do some thing, watch some one else, or a video then I like to get right in there and try it..

I learn through all of those things. I don't know why but I'm an easy learner. I can learn things and absorb things easily even at my young age. I do have the drive to gain knowledge and share them to anyone.

eheh in reality i never thought about learning in these terms..but i think i'm a visual learner so when i see things how it works i will learn about them quickly than when i read it...i think..also depends on which subject you refer to because may be some things you have an easy learning in a way and for others simply others!!

I am so much the visual learner. My fiance and I argue all the time about how much gas I waste trying to find things on a map. He is always explaining to me what streets to follow. But I hate remembering them, so I just remember all the landmarks. I just pick things up so much easier when you show them to me. Don't tell me anything... I wonder why this varies in people so much?

Basically I am more towards practical = visual learners, but i dont really remember stuffs if i learn it by sight I need to study the theory in details too in order to completely understand a concept and apply it in practical situation However, i prefer hands on learning method as this allows me to try and error and in the end develops a best method for me

I use my imagination most of the times, when visual aides are not available like whenever I'm reading books and novels. But it's always cool to see something that would best describe that certain view, we could get the exact picture of it. I could also be a good listener, but it should be something that interests me or that I'm required to do so..
