What is your favorite exotic fruit?

whats your favorite exotic fruit and where does it come from? What makes you like it so much?

I like bananas once in awhile, but not too often. they are from exotic fruit I guess, but they are so common and so easy to get ahold of that they get old after awhile I guess. But hey if you like them best of all...then more power to ya

I know exectly how you feel. Just the thought of them makes my mouth water. They are really sweet and juicy. Not to mention just plain GREAT!

my favorite is 'rambutan.' it comes from southeast Asia. the name comes from the Malay/Indonesian word 'rambut' which means hair. so rambutan means 'hairy' and the fruit does have a lot of hair.
i like it so much because it tastes great. it's sweet and juicy. yeah, occasionally you would get a sour one but that's rare.
here in the US we can't get the fresh rambutans, only canned ones which is preserved in syrup and sold in Asian food stores. they're not as good as the fresh ones but it's still nice to eat them once in a while.

I have never heard of that sort of fruit. I might have to go out and see if I can find some even if they are canned. I really dont know very many Asian food stores around where I live though. There are a lot of Mexican food stores around here though.

Well I'm from the Caribbean so I guess gfruits that grow here are considered exotic? I like mangoes simply because they taste extremely good when half ripe and made into a thing we call "chow"
If you would like to know how to make a good caribbean chow u can add me as a friend and ask me lol
By the way, chow can be made with almost anything... cucumbers, pineapple... even oranges (i don't like the orange one though)

I love mangoes, they are super sweet and really really really good. gfruits are really good also. I remember eating them when I was a kid.
