Do You Get so Busy with Life that You Forget to Update Your Blog?

Wow, do you ever get so busy with life that you totally forget to update your blog without even realizing it? I did. I didn't update my blog for 3 weeks and it just hit me this morning when I got up, so I was like in a hurry to update it. I pre-wrote some entries earlier just in case life will get me and I don't have time to write. But what amazed me was that, with the pre-entries, I even forgot to publish them *laughs*.

Yes! I wrote 3 chapters of a book that I was considering publishing as a series of short stories on Helium or somewhere and haven't typed them in yet. Lying in a desk drawer they earn nothing, so I should do that, huh? I'm better at updating my blog now that I broke down and subscribed to typepad, which makes it so much easier. In fact, lately I will start writing something there and then get carried away and realize it is long enough to put on Helium or one of the other PTW places. Now I'm getting smart and doing a cut and paste to move it somewhere else for publication with a link back to my blog. Isn't it fun, though?

How's your writing these days? As you have noticed, I haven't really written anything seriously since I started my job. God! I feel a little bad, but then I think to myself that I will be able to write all I want later when I finish this contract, I feel a little better!

Terrific, you will enjoy that. I haven't been writing or drawing as much I I should b e but life gets in the way, doesn't it. I've been busy getting my blog approved by PayPerPost and have neglected the others. But they are not forgotten! This is such an exciting time we live in--so many fun things to do!
Today we just went outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful weather and shopped, though.

Sometimes I get quite busy promoting my blog (computer tech links in my Mylot profile), applying template changes, enhancing with feedburner, forum participation, reading other blogs, etc, that I hold off for 2 to 3 weeks at times between posts...

No, I can't afford to do that. Both of my main jobs are blogging. I get paid $20 a day on one site (I am only allowed to post once a day and every post must be 250 words minimum. I must post once a week or I will be fired). In my second job, I only need to post once a month- an update of two paragraphs, and I get paid $50). If I forgot to blog for a day or two, I would lose at least $20, perhaps more.

i just started my own blog recently at blogspot. just last month. since then, i have never been that busy to forget checking it once in a while and making a post. even though i don't post there everyday, i make it a point that i update it once in a while. hey, please check it out and please leave a comment in the tag board. ^__^ thank you so much!

I have been into alot of different activities lately that I forgot to update my blogs. Now that you have reminded me, perhpaps I will work on my blogs as soon as I can. For now, I don't think I have enough time to work on my blogs. After my students' final exams perhaps.

Yeah. I just bought a new car and it had some problems, so I was so busy dealing with it and researching the problems that I forgot to update my blog. Sometimes, I just get busy with other things and don't post for days. I think the longest I've gone without posting anything new is 5 days.

I don't have time to blog, or don't have anything interesting to say. I find there are so many blogs out there, there aren't many that I'm intested in reading.

As my blog is fairly new, I get to update it everyday. The enthusiasm is still there, so I'm always quite excited to update and add new posts. I just don't know in the long run if I will experience the way it has happened to you. :)

yup sometimes when i'm busy i just don't have time to update. if there are any interesting things that i just have to blog about, it'll probably be a quick and a short post.

Its natural for any one unless the bond with the blog is strong or the income from it is decent.
