Yet Obama's not a Muslim, so obviously you're wrong - as are your scriptures. I'm assuming that by "madrassa", you mean a religious Islamic school. So here's my response to your..."point". The most hilarious thing about this thread is the fact that you're not only wrong about his religion, but about the school he attended. He never went to a an Islamic religious school. The allegation is false, and that fact that it was so easy to find that information shows just how desperate some people are to smear the names of people they think have any connection with religions they have no tolerance for (Islam, in your case). Don't let your intolerance towards anything Islam related prompt you to post slanderous lies about people who have any connection to Islam. At least check to see if your information is correct, first.

You guys are wasting your breath, or should I say your typing fingers! This poster believes everything he or she reads in the Scriptures, which were written by man and which are open to many interpretations but but has neglected to take the few minutes it would take to look up the pesky little facts that get in the way here. I'm not a scholar of the bible but don't the scriptures also say women should "submit to their husbands"? Don't the scriptures also advocate all kinds of murder and violence? This is not a slam toward Christians as most of them are reasonable and tolerant people. It's ignorant people like this poster who give Christianity a bad name. Annie

The scriptures advocate all kinds of things we think are bad today. However, don't tell the OP that, because she'll pull the "no true Scotsman" argument. I've seen many of this posters arguments. Needless to say, I really don't take anything she says seriously, as she's already proven herself to be an intolerant bigot time and time again. I just think it's funny when, in their quest to act like a bigot, people like the OP show just how ignorant they are. I generally try to tolerate all religious ideas, because it seems like the right thing to do. I honestly don't think Christians are bad people - but sometimes, it's people like the OP that make me wish religion didn't exist.

I'm not a supporter of Obama but I need to defend him here "Obama was trained as a child in the madrasa to be a good muslim" I don't know about his childhood, but he is a christian now, it's so difficult to believe? "if you train up a child in a certain way when he is older he will not depart from it" Even if he was raised as a muslim (which is untrue) how this could affect what he is now? Muslim religion is not bad, It's the bad muslim people who have to be blamed

There's no risk involved in regard to his being a Muslim, because he's not a Muslim.

here's my opinion. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Well, me and my husband grew up in families that were devout Baptists. We got married, and 12 years later, he is an atheist, and I am "undecided". How about that? Seriously, the "Obama is a Muslim" card is getting old. So what? Does that mean we should gather all American Muslims together and maybe start up an internment camp for them? He is an American, born and bred. If you don't like him, so be it, don't vote for him. But prejudiced slanderings of someones religion (though he says he is not Muslim) is just plain ignorant.

I'm laughing. Various degrees? You can't even spell! Obviously, you are proud to be prejudiced and full of hate for things that you probably don't even know to much about. How can you say that you are a "good" Christian, when your Bible says "judge not lest ye be judged." and you are full on judging a man that you do not know, you are just responding to the many rumors that I am sure that you have heard. Yet again, the Christian double standard. You can preach it, but you sure as hell can't live it.

All the degrees in the world won't teach common sense nor get rid of ignorance, especially when it goes this deep. Annie

Just because you read something on the internet does not mean it is true. You are almost as bad as the poster the other day saying Obama took his oath of office on a Korean Bible. Good thing the majority of American voters have realized the anonymous e-mails they have been getting might not be true and have researched for the truth. America has come a long way with these issues but I'm sure no matter who the Democrats put up we'll find all sorts of racists and sexists coming out of the shadows. It is widely known that Obama has never been a Muslim and is a Christian.

Obama's father may have been a Muslim (I'm not really sure about that though), but his father also abandoned him when he was a child. Plus, Obama has been going to the same church for over 20 years.

and what exactly is "our" law? As far as I can tell, Obama has not broken any American laws. Sabbath, I saw your post about Muslims, and yes, I do not agree with their religious beliefs, but that does not give me or anyone else the right to slam those Muslims that are Americans, and that have not done anything wrong.

YES! i agree obama IS A MUSLIM PRETENDING TO NOT BE A MUSLIM its obvious AND the muslims did say in their hate speeches that they will take over the white house and make it a black house and then will take over the world so its no surprise that it seems obama will win
