Ever buy pancakes in a box?

I did there were only six in the box and they were medium sized. I paid as much as if I was making an entire batch from scratch. I won't do that again. How do you buy pancakes? Do you go to pancake dinners? Do you buy mixes? Do you make them from scratch? Normally I buy buckwheat or buttermilk mixes. I have made some from a recipe before and I think I will again.

I have bought waffles in a box because I don't have a waffle iron, but never pancakes. Sometimes I use a mix, but most of the time, I make my pancakes from scratch..

From scratch and mixes are best. Frozen is really a let down. Take care

Walmart had a box of frozen pancakes, so I tried them. I think frozen waffles are better. Take care.

Do you mean frozen ones? If so, the answer is no. I have bought frozen waffles a few times, but rarely. I usually make my pancakes from a mix and add some ground flax seed to them. I have made them from scratch before as well, but usually opt of the mix.

Yes, the frozen ones, what a disappointment. I had some flax seed once, kept forgetting to grind it and add it to things. I prefer made from scratch or a mix, but never the frozen ones again.

I have bought both frozen and pre-mixed mix also. I prefer to make my own fresh but dont always have the time.
