Applying for Free Money from Government Grants?

Have you ever gotten a Government Grant before or wanted to get one?I have thought of getting one for the purpose of getting my home fixed it is in dire need of a roof and other major repairs. How did you apply for one? Did it cost to get the grant kit?Have you had positive things done with grants? Is it easy? or something negative happen? Would you apply for one? Do you have any links that would help? I have heard that some grants are free and that you never have too pay it back. That you can start business,fix your home, go back to school,Help get you out of debt. That would be great if we could get the money for the things we needed and not have to worry about the cost of payingit back.

I have always wadnered about grants too because I have also heard that they are free from the government. I thought they only gave out grants to those people who wanted to go to college though. I never knew we could apply for one to use the money for other purposes. Where did you hear that at, seriously? I hope someone can answer your question.

Ok. Thanks alot for this information. I will take a look at it when I get some free time. I am always afraid that alot of this tuff may be a scam and they just try to get people to fall for it. I would hope not, but you never know these days. There may be some specific qualifications too, but I will look at it.

That is so true, we never know sometimes that something is a scam because they are getting so good at it making it harder and harder to detect the real from the scams. I tend to be careful and don't give out any information I don't have to an especially nothing to do with my bank and lucky my I don't do credit cards they just put people deeper into debt then they would be if they didn't have them so I steer clear.
