All Anne Rice fans... I'm sure youre familiar with Ms. Rice's famous books on vampires. Awesome read, each one. But, you haven't read anything until you give her new books on Christ a try. So far she has 2 in the series- Christ the Lord. First book chronicles the Christ child age birth through twelve. The second and brand new book chronicles Christ at age 30. A definite must read for everyone- religious or not.

I haven't read her Christian books yet but I did hear that she wrote some as a sort of atonement for her 'sins' by blasphemy due to her vampire and witch books. I haven't seen one of the new books here in my place yet but I will buy one once I find one.

I've read some of the Anne Rice Vampire Novels and I had no idea she was writing books on Christ. that sounds great and I'll be looking for them soon.

My ex-husband read the first one. I had wanted to read it as well, but never got around to it. He took it with him when he left. Shoot. Looks like I'll have to get my own copy! :D I do intend to read it though.

I have yet to finish reading her Vampire Chronicles, as my boyfriend tends to lend out the books before asking me which book I need to read next, and I just so happen to be finishing one and heading onto the book he's already lent out! I'm not very religious and am more geared toward the Paranormal, and horror. My boyfriend read Christ the Lord and he said it was ok, but it wasn't for him. Being as how we are fairly the same when it comes to opinions on books, I probably won't read it, but I might, never know.

I was very disappointed to find out that Anne Rice decided to never write her books about vampires and witches again. She decided to do the whole christ thing. I don't understand it. In her books you can tell she believed nothing in god and now she says she found him. Well.. I will miss her books and will just have to continue to reread my old ones. :(
