When you wash your garbage can do you wash them at the kitchen sink using the hose sprayer or do you take them to the bathtub-shower? Then I have taken them out side sometimes. The smaller ones I do at the kitchen sink. Which way do you find is the easiest for you? Or do you even wash your garbage cans?

Hi, deebomb. I do wash my garbage cans. And when I do so, I will wash them inside of my home. I will take an old cup and I will fill it with hot water. Then I will take some lemon antibacterial spray and I will spray the trash can down with an old cleaning rag. I will not rinse my garbage can out inside of my kitchen sink or bathtub/shower. That is very nasty and doing so causes major germs. It is best to wash it outside too.

I keep plastic garbage bags in the cans so they really don't get dirty. I use a disinfectant to wash them with to keep the germs down and that covers the sink too. Some times it's just too cold to do them out side.

I live in a house with a yard but I wash mine at the kitchen sink because of stairs going out side is difficult.

I wash my trash cans at the kitchen sink also. It is alot easier because I can spray cleaner inside of it and rinse it out with the sink sprayer and drain it there. The trash can that I have outside for trash pickup, gets rinsed out with the garden hose.
