I get so sick of WAITING!! BUT I just got a letter today and my bf FINALLY has his release date! June 16th he gets transfered to the 1/2 way house and then I dont know how long he'll be in there but IF he has to do the Drug Program thats another 90 days!! which means I might not be able to see him until close to my freakin birthday!!! IN SEPTEMBER!! *big sigh* Am I the only one who gets tired of waiting? Seems like I've been waiting for important things all my life ya know..when I was a kid I was waiting for my bio dad to come rescue me, when I was growing up I was waiting for the abuse and cruelty to stop when I was a teen I was just waiting to die..Waiting Waiting Waiting...damn its so bloody frustrating..and its even more frustrating when the things you are waiting for a super fabulous things ya know.... dont you just hate having to wait

Lol, ive been waiting for different things all my life but i want to say congratulations on your forthcoming event im sure you and your bf will be fantastic together, however long it takes. I know the guys we release all have to go on rehab programmes but their sentences are between 15 and 20 years so they tend to have heavy-duty re adjustment problems, lol. I do hate having to wait but feel anticipation is what makes it worth while

Always waiting does suck. The time seems to go on forever and ever. Especially when we are really looking forward to a special event to happen.

I hate having to wait for anything, let alone a man who cannot seem to keep his butt out of jail. I too have played the thug lovin and down OG girl myself so I know what you're going through and I empathize and sympathize. In fact the revolving prison door syndrome is one of the two major reasons that I had to cut the thuggish ruggish cord and look for a more solid, responsible, and careful human being upon whom to base 1/2 of my life. B4 you go getting all mad girl! I am not suggesting that my answers or my solutions are good for or would work for you anyway, although we share the same alma mater of Hard Knocks U (univ)Exotic Dance Academy. I am simply sharing my experience, strength, and hope, hoping that someday you may think about where your and your G are wanting to go with your lives together and where you do not wish to continue going with your lives together. I know that it is hard to stay true, and down, and faithful for those long stretches of time when your man is up or down state doing a bid with the state. It is not just the physical that is emprisoned when a repeat inmate returns to prison. It is difficult to keep true and faithful to the dream, or "vision" of the two of you as one, shoulder to shoulder against the world when that shoulder is penned up somewhere like an animal, going through whatever he has to go through in there to not end up being called "Twan". Be strong, stay up girl, you been here b4. It is tough when your man gets short and sh9779y and the days are counted not in years, months, or even in weeks but in days. Play Ja Rule's put it on me, and some Akon"locked up" count those dwindling days yet again and look toward the future girl. I know you have already got your eye on some piece of lingerie fluff to welcome him home in so Go Girl!

That sucks that you'll have to wait so long!! I hate it for you! But at least you have an idea when you'll get to see him though that's some good news too. I hate waiting though too. It is extremely frustrating. It does seem that's all we are doing in life...waiting for the future. It's kind of sad in a way...

That seems like such a long time to wait Raven. It's still like, months away. I can certainly understand your frustration. It would be worse for your bf. Please try and find something to keep you occupied and sane, while you wait.

Waiting is worse when you don't have any time frames to go by. In this situation with your lover, you at least have dates to look forward to. Yes, it may seem like ages away from now, but every day brings you one day closer to spending special time with him again. :) I'm so happy you got that letter today! Happy Hump Day indeed!

I know how it feels to have to WAIT. My husband and I started out in a long distance relatiionship, and now, even after we're married, we're still semi-long-distance, because I'm Canadian and he's American. We go back and forth, and sometimes we have to be apart because of work.
