I like a lot of different kinds of pickles... dill, sweet gerkins, bread & butter. There is one I absolutely love though & I can't find it lately in the grocery stores I go to! They are called Mrs. Fannings Bread & Butter pickles. They are soooo good. I could eat a whole jar at one sitting... LoL! Has anyone else ever tried them?

I personally like those little baby crunchy pickles. I know Vlastic makes them. I mostly eat dill pickles. I do not like sweet pickles of any kind, except for maybe some types of sweet relish. I mostly even eat dill relish. It may be the way I grew up. My grandpa always canned dill pickles. Although, and I don't mean any disrespect to him, his pickles were large and fat, and not as cruncy as those mini-cruncy ones you find in the store.

For me its Claussens and they have to have been kept cold.lol'UI love the baby gherkins but also love bread and butter and Claussens kosher dill, i just am a real pickle nut, I just loveto munch on them whole. i have never see Mrs. fannings but would probably like them, but I like the crispness of Claussens pickles.there is another brand that is similar but cannot remember to save my soul.

I love bread and butter pickles too. In fact we all do around here. I haven't heard of Mrs. Fannings but I'm going to look for it the next time I go to the grocery store.

I love bread and butter also dill. I usually buy Valasic. I also like to mix the left over juice, slice up a cucumber into it, let it sit for a couple days and mmmmm good. Just the right mix of sweet and spicy. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Oh, that is a great idea twoey68! I had never thought of doing that with cucumbers! Thanks for the tip! I will have to try to do that sometime myself. We all love pickles & cucumbers too. I bet that tastes really good. YUMMY!

My niece is a pickle fanatic! We have to hide them when she comes to visit or else she'll eat the whole jar! LoL! I mentioned those bread & butter pickles by Mrs. Fannings but I forgot to say that on a whole I really do not like bread & butter pickles very much... just that particular brand of them I really love. By the way, I like your Pug! Such a cutie! :)

I hate pickles by themselves but like to use them in cooking. I use the juice mostly. Instead of using a bunch of salt in my potatoe salad or tuna I use the pickle juice, it makes everything juicy. The kind of pickles we use are clausen because those ones are crispy and not bendy.

I guess people usually either love pickles or hate them. I do use the juice sometimes too in tuna salad, etc. like you do. I forget sometimes though & usually use just relish. Claussen are nice & crunchy, I agree.

if you are talking about cucumber pickles my favorites are varieties of dill, they must be crisp. I prefer baby sized gherkins. I like them flavorful or zesty. my mother used to make the best pickles - garlic dills, paprika sticks.... mmmm I also am very fond of pickled veggies such as garlic, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, okra, peppers etc etc etc. I guess I like vinegar I do not care for claussen brand because they are too salty for my taste

I like my pickles crisp too. I never did like the pickled veggies until I started trying more of them after marrying my second husband. He is from Jordan & he really likes the pickled veggies... wild cucumbers, cauliflower, carrots, etc. He likes the hot peppers too. I like the cauliflower a lot and the carrots too. The brand really makes a difference though & I agree that they definitely have to be crisp. Once we have them in our frig too long after opening them we throw them away if we haven't finished them as they start to get too mushy.

Blech! I hate bread and butter pickles! I accidently ate one recently and immediately spit it back out. Pickles are not meant to be sweet! I love the regular dill pickles though. I put them on anything I can. I actually have a great recipe for making your own pickles. I put them in the jar with some jalapenos and they come out spicy. They are really good, I need to make a jar soon.

My favorite are Claussen's Mini dill pickles. I like sweet gerkins and bread and butter too, but the dill are my favorite. I have never heard of Mrs. Fannings brand pickles.

Hi lilybug - I've never had the Claussen mini dills before, but I do like the Claussen brand. I also like those ones where they are huge slices that you can put on a sandwich or burger & it covers the whole thing! I think those are wonderful... instead of having to put about 4-6 pickles on top in order to get a taste in every bite! LoL I think the Mrs. Fannings brand is mostly available in the north & east, as I used to buy them when I lived in Pennsylvania... I think. I've lived so many places I can't remember. :)

I don't mind sandwich pickles or pickle slices like the ones they put on hamburgers, but my favorite pickles are baby dill pickles, they are the best. They are the only kind I would buy, if there are others on a plate at a restaurant or whatever I will eat them, but I will only buy baby dills. I am not real brand minded, but I really like Vracik.

I, myself love pickles and always have since I was a child. I love Jewish pickles and I agree that the bread and butter chips are really good also. I like the sweet flavor of them and so does my four year old son. I am not sure I have heard of Mrs. Fannings pickles though. I think I'll be on the lookout for them!

Mrs. Fannings Bread and Butter pickles are the absolute best! I could eat an entire jar also! But, since moving to northern Arizona, we can not find them anywhere. Am thinking about trying netgrocer.com

I like just about any kind of a dill pickle. I do not remember ever trying Mrs. Fannings Bread and Butter Pickles, but you can look online for them. Sometimes when I cannot get stuff, I find a website, tell them how much I like their product, and then they often tell me where to get it, and send me coupons.

I've never heard of Mrs. Fannings pickles. That doesn't mean much though. I usually stick to the tried and true brands I've had growing up. My favorite brand is probably Vlasic, but bread and butter pickles are my favorite. I haven't had them in forever, but thanks to you they are now on my grocery list!

I too love pickles. We have many different jars of pickles here. The whole dill, koser, bread & butter, and even hamburger slice pickles(which I find myself eating right out of the jar, when I run out of the whole pickles). The brand we usually buy is Vlasic. I haven't heard of the brand you mentioned.
