I know presidential campaign is in progress in the USA now and I know it is very important to your Americans. It seems you are very concerned about it.To be frankly many Chinese are not interested in ourown politics such as election including me.Every year the White House will release a Human Rights Report about China. It says we Chinese are living in a very bad condition.I want to know what you think of China. Though its economic is increasing at rocket speed,we Chinese college students have felt more pressure than ever before.I don't know what happens to China on earth!!

You know it is your future. the decisions the government makes affects you in every way. you just have to like it. here in American we all study government and I think it is a good thing that we have to learn about Our government that way we get to see their mistakes and how to correct them.It will be wise if Chinese people get to like their politics and focus on it. It creates better understanding about the world around you. Remember that every government affects culture so you and others need to get interested to keep that beautiful culture china has.

that's why you should study the government so that someday you will be able to change those. and that's why Chinese people must stand up and study their government so that they can change some of those things some day in future. Every thing started some where. Here In America for example Black people were unable to stand up but what happen Mal come X and martin l. King study the government and study the people and stood up. that is why America is what it is today other wise the blacks will still be unacceptable. but right now it is not like that because people took time to learn and decided to make their voices heard. no matter the cost. You can make a change in your local community no matter how small you think you are every person is important

I have not really followed the presidential campaign because I am currently living in China. I have never been concerned about it. Most of the time when I did vote, I based it on what people I know said about the people. From what I have seen (at least in the cities), people have what they need. There are times that there are people who do have unmet needs, but since things are so cheap, maybe that's why they think that. My opinion is that the students are pressured too much and I read an article a while back that many companies are having trouble finding good help because the education is more aimed at passing tests rather than preparing for jobs. That is where I see the problem, but that is just my opinion based on what I have seen while teaching English to university students in Guangdong province.

I wish that I could make changes to your education system, but it is not my place. I can only make a difference in the areas where I actually teach and nowhere else. I can make suggestions to my students (mostly I have teaching English majors this year). If improvements can be made, it will be one student at a time. It is not good, but that is how it will have to be.

I'm very concerned about who is the president but although I vote in every election I never get who I want. Except once, when I voted for Bush over John Kerry and I'm SO sorry that I did that! Not that my one vote made any difference. It's funny, every presidential election doomsayers from each party are moaning about how horrible it will be if the opponent gets into office. I hear so many people say that if so-and-so gets to be president they'll move to Canada or somewhere because it's going to be so bad and the end of our country. I've said it myself! But nobody ever moves, we keep slogging on under all these bozo idiots. People here will vote for anyone who tells them what they want to hear. If the person is attractive, all the better--good looks mean you don't have to lie as much because people will like you. And only about half of Americans bother to vote, which is disturbing. We've become a nation of sheep, blindly following the shepherds. "I love my country but I fear my leaders" a bumper sticker I saw. How true! I'm so glad to live here in the U.S. and will continue to vote. If I don't, I have no right to complain.

Yes we are concerned about the poilitics like never before the only reason is everything went wrong and we are looking for a person to set that right. China i think wealth is not distributed evenly like there are ghettos at one place and worlds richest next lane that is the main problem. They should try to increase the standard of living of those people uniformly then every thing gets changed and purchasing power gets increased. In USA almost all of them have good standards of living because they are evenly brought up with some exceptions of course. I have no doubt that China could become super power one day but it should take that in even manner.

Well I am 17 and I am very involved politically. Even though I won't be old enough to vote by the time the election comes around I am trying to show my suport by talking to people and such. I have read up on the three candidates left and I always try to look at things by what they have done in the past. My brother is earning his degree in Political Science and we are both democrats, (I'm preregistered). Anyway, I think China is evolving into a large industrialized power, I just wish I understood the standard of living for most Chinese, what kind of things do you do for fun? What kind of job do you have? How long do you work? I have never gotten real good information and I think alot of Americans like myself don't know what it is like in China.
