Old Notifications are Arriving!

Some weird things are happening with notifications today. I was aware yesterday, or the day before, that some ,or many notifications had not been sent. A friend made me aware of this when I missed
around eight discussions of his.
Today, I think My Lot are trying to catch up on these missed notifications. I am receiving notifications that are dated (in my outlook express) as yesterday, but are in fact, up to 4 days old. I have a lot like this. I am allowing for the time difference, which is 12.5 hours for me being ahead of My Lot admin.
It doesn't particularly worry me, although I hope I am missing my friends discussions that they may have started today?
Check the date on your notifications & then the actual days ago when it started. Is this happening for other people?

I am still not getting notifications. I believe mine stopped sometime around 10pm on Friday night....I was pretty smashed last night so I didn't check my email from about 4pm yesterday up to 10am this morning. I really didn't noticed that I was not getting notification until late this afternoon because I had so many emails to dig through. 2 people like this

Wow! There must be so many problems at the moment with the implementation of the new script. I didn't receive notification of your response, or the others.

We are all having issues, so it is unusual that you are not,. I didn't receive notification of this response to my discussion.

I'm still not receiving any messages. My e-mail is looking quite empty and it really looks amazing, but I realize I'm really not caught up at all. I don't think my friend list stopped talking to me. I'm afraid to see the 1000 plus Mylot is holding for me to answer.

Good Heavens. If you are still not receiving any notifications, you are going o receive soooo... many at once I suspect. Let me know when this happens, as I am curious.

Yea, 2 dozens just flooded in at the same time for me.
I hope the glitch is finally fixed and not just a tiny respite...

I received a bunch of new notifications this morning, which would indicate that the problem is fixed.

Admin should answer this question as soon as possible. It is a show of goodwill on the part of admin to serve all memmbers. If they think notification is important, then admin should address these matter properly......I think most members need notification to make their involmement here secured....I myself recieved all notifications without delay, and it makes me so glad and happy...

That is good that you are receiving all notifications without delay. Not everybody is having the same problem.

Those old ones are showing up as somoen added a comment to your response more than likely. This was done becuase some members got really bored and dug up friends old discussions etc. I have a bunch as well showing up and it's because members added comments to my responses to them as well.

Well, i noticed that this sort of thing usually happens when a certain upgrade or new features are being added here in mylot... it is like a glitch or something...
This sort of thing also happened to me... i received notifications that are like 2 days late... i hope the mylot admin can sort this one out very soon...

This is true. And this upgrade is quite a big one, so more "updating" problems are likely.

You know what, I probably would never notice. I'm still responding from discussion from 2007 in my mylot email folder. That is so sad, isn't it?
I have a few of my friends on email alert-- and all of their discussions are just sitting there in my box. LOL
I'm actually catching up on some today, but I know I won't finish there is over 100 emails in that folder right now! LOL

I have well over 200 notifications sitting in my inbox & I am afraid there is no way I can respond to them all.

No, it was a glitch with mylot and nobody was getting their discussions. Very aggravating to say the least. I got up this morning and checked and still no discussions so I went out to take my dad where he needed to go and came back 2 hours later and lo and behold! I had over a hundred emails!! I about flipped out!! LOL I knew then "Mylot is fixed!!" lol

Wow! Over 100 hundred notifications! A few My Lotters have expressed concern that they will receive a whole lot of noitifications at once.

Hi jennybianca,
I am not getting any sort of e-mail from mylot since Saturday Morning(IST=6 A.M) and still not able to understand what could be the problem.

The problem, I assume, is the implementation of the new changes.
I didn't receive notification of your response to this discussion, so they must be having big issues at the moment.
