Do you comment all of the response?

I always think I should comment to all the response and I insist to do it all the time. But this evening I found that there are so many responses that I feel I couldn't finish it once, and if I want to finish it will take me about 3 hours.By the way, some of the response is similar and the comment is difficult to be different. So,do you think is necessary to comment all the responses?I want to how you deal with it so that I can make a decision.

I try to comment on every answer to every discussion, but only if I really have anything to say. Mylot doesn't like it if you just say "thank you" to every response, but actually make a quality comment instead. Usually, I don't get more than a dozen responses to my discussions, so it's no problem. If the discussion really takes off, I might not answer everyone personally, especially if they only leave a one sentence response.

I don't think you have to comment on ALL responses, but if it makes you feel better then do so. Not everyone does, I don't always do it, and it's not to be rude. Although it may be good to do so. So perhaps maybe I should start doing that more myself. It may be good to do.

I think it's very interesting to do that and I think I should do it as much as I can.

Hello dear lsw. I respond to all the responses to my discussions, leaving none unresponded to. If I cannot finish responding to them all, I will respond to some of them from time to time when I am online. I have made it a rule and a habit for me. lol

I don't know if "necessary" would be the right word. It is courteous to respond, but if it would take more time than you have available, there's no need to knock yourself out doing it. Either that, or you could comment on the oldest responses first, then tackle the more recent ones another day.
