Is there a single thing which is the reason for what you are now?

hmm.. i think there is one thing... our life situation. we needed money at the time i graduated and was barely eating 2 meals a day. so i grabbed on the first job offered to me and here i am still at that work. ( i have been promoted twice over the span of 6 years - which is good) but i sometimes wished maybe if i waited a bit longer and went to find a better job, i would have gone abroad already

hmmm...thinking...thinking...thinking. I can't think of one single reason. For me there are so many....my circumstances, my thinking, my responsibilities, my upbringing...actually it's a mix of these and many more.
But I can speak for my husband....and he's a pharmacologist today and working towards his PhD. He would have been a medical doctor if his father had checked the rank list for the medical entrance properly. They assumed he hadn't got through will in fact he had. So, he had to choose second best...and went in for pharmacy. But he's happy where he is now (his own business and a professor at college)...and is a mini doctor..lol

I never had the chance to go to college but if I would have, I would have chose to be an interior designer or a computer technician. I have worked alot of part-time jobs and a few full time jobs but people in those workplaces drove me nuts over the years. I now work at home because of it.
