How many items can you cook in a day? Its been many years for me to try entering a cooking sweepstakes contest. I was watching a cooking contest on the cooking channel and it was great to see some well made dishes. I'm thinking about trying to enter a contest. The show was Italian Dishes. The winning dish will be on TGIF's Menu. I didn't care for that dish, but several others really looked great. I like to get ideas for new dishes, so turn on the cooking channel when there is nothing else on television.

So the sweepstakes is how many items can you cook? Or do you submit a recipe and if it is picked they put it on TGIF menu? Either way—good luck. I cook only as many as needed ~ which is 1 meal… dinner… Except for the weekends... Then I cook more. My sig other cooks breakfast on the weekends He is great at it. If I had to cook a lot to enter a contest—I could. I like to cook ~ but I can’t see cooking all day if no one will eat it. I am not one for the food channel- I watch it when my daughter has it on and I have nothing to do. Most of the meals they show- I wouldn’t eat. I am a very plain eater.

My local fair has a contest for making lots of different treats like cookies, cakes and pies. My daughter entered the fair contest 3 years ago and received some money from baking. I told her she won't get rich, but she did a great job. The other contest is one dish, but I'm not to sure, if I would want to be on television. Thanks for the reply.

I can cook all dy if I want to and enjoy it. There is something about cooking that I've always enjoyed; it's calming and allows me to create I have seen the show that you are talking about, it's a pretty cool show. Although I don't know if I could come up with something that original that would win any awards. I love the Food Network. I love food, really. It's a passion.

My record for most stuff baked in one day was two cakes, three different kinds of cookies, and a box-mix of muffins. I got really bored one night while my mom was at work, so I baked to keep my mind occupied. She was happy when she got home, and we shared everything with my grandparents, who lived next door. As for now, I could maybe bake a batch or two of cookies, then get bored with it. I used to bake like mad, but now I've kinda run out of steam in that area. I did just help my mom make a box-mix bread a few hours ago, though, so maybe I'm not completely done with baking.
